🚨 EVERYONE MUST READ — THIS IS IMPORTANT! 🚨

After 10 years with my current gallery host, PASS Plus is officially shutting down their service. That means I have HUNDREDS of galleries and 10 YEARS worth of photos that have to be migrated to a brand-new system.

Trust me when I tell you, I HATE too much change, and this is WAY too much change for me. 😂 So I completely understand not wanting to switch to something new! But PASS Plus is doing us dirty, and unfortunately, it is what it is. We have to move!

🚨 PLEASE DOWNLOAD ALL OF YOUR GALLERIES BY OCTOBER 6TH! 🚨

I’ve been told everything should transfer over, but with this many galleries and images, I cannot promise every single image will make it through the migration. I’m giving everyone a FULL MONTH to download and safely back up their photos before I start the process.

A few important things:

Download your images to a REAL COMPUTER — not just a phone or tablet. Full-resolution files are LARGE, and phones/tablets may not properly handle the full-size files.
Choose HIGH RESOLUTION when downloading.
Save a copy on your computer AND another copy on a flash drive or external hard drive.
YES, you will need to create a new account with the new gallery service.
YES, the new service is VERY similar to the old one and user-friendly.
YES, you will still be able to download, order prints/products, share your galleries, and do all the same things you can now.

I do keep copies of galleries on external hard drives, but long-term storage is NEVER guaranteed. Hard drives fail too! I’ve had THREE recovered in the last 11 years, and recovery is costly AND time-consuming.

Once we migrate, if you haven't downloaded your images by October 6th, I CANNOT PROMISE that I will still have them. Please be responsible for your images and make sure you have your own full-resolution backups.

And I’m definitely not the only photographer this is affecting — there are A LOT of us in the same boat right now. I’m just hoping I can paddle fast enough. 😉

So help me out, y’all! Please do this WELL BEFORE the deadline. Moving 10 years of galleries is stressful enough, and naturally this is happening right as we head into BUSY SEASON. 😂

IT’S FRIDAY!

Hopefully everyone enjoys the long Labor Day weekend and the “official” end-of-summer weekend with family!

While you’re enjoying the extra time together, don’t forget to get those FALL sessions booked!

I’ve added a few more spots for Traditional Fall sessions, there is only ONE spot left for Lost Hills, and I still have a few openings for Fair Grove Mill!

Home for the Holidays sessions also have a few spots left. These are perfect if you’ll have family coming into town or everyone together over Thanksgiving or Christmas. We never really know when we’ll have another chance to get the whole extended family together, so don’t miss the opportunity to document it while you can.

Summer is over for many of us officially....

No editing Mondays due to it's my one "off day" I am usually taking my kids to their weekly appointments.

$75 fee → Regular sessions, back in 48 hours

$350 fee → Weddings, back in 72 hours
(Rush edits are only for those who need a session back sooner than quoted turnaround)

Please get your image selections back to me within 7 days of receiving your proofs. This helps me deliver your final gallery quickly

MODEL CALL!

We’re putting together a styled wedding shoot at Southside Acres Wedding & Event Center on SEPTEMBER 17TH, and we need to fill a whole wedding!

Backup/Rain Date: September 24th
You MUST be available for BOTH dates.

WE NEED 2–4 COUPLES TO GET “MARRIED!”

Maybe you didn’t get the wedding photos you wanted, had a courthouse wedding or elopement, are celebrating an anniversary — or you just want to dress up and get FREE professional wedding photos. ;)

Couples arrive at 5 PM in wedding attire and COME READY! We’ll stage a few “getting ready” moments in our upstairs suites, followed by mock ceremonies, wedding party photos and portraits around the property.

WE ALSO NEED 25–50 WEDDING GUESTS!

Guests arrive at 6 PM.

Families, couples, singles, kids, grandparents — ALL AGES! We want this shoot to showcase that Southside Acres is truly a venue for everyone.

We would especially love to include guests who use a wheelchair, walker or cane so we can showcase our concrete walkways and accessible spaces.

Basically... come attend a pretend wedding! 😂 Eat, drink, mingle, dance, have fun and get FREE professional photos while you’re here!

Heck, bring the whole extended family and get a free family photo while everyone is dressed up. ;)

We also need a wedding party, flower girls and ring bearers! You can absolutely double as a guest AND wedding party. Little kids, grandparents — we're open to having some fun with it. If Grandma wants to be the flower girl, I’m here for it. 😂

We’ll be shooting INDOORS AND OUTDOORS to showcase the WHOLE venue, and we’ll have a florist plus some other fun things planned!

WHAT TO WEAR: Think early fall wedding — fall colors, jewel tones and earthy colors. A final color palette will be sent once everything is nailed down.

Everyone must sign a model release. Photos/video may be used for advertising by Southside Acres, Abigail Troy Photography and participating vendors/businesses.

Carly ROCKED her senior session! Seriously, it was perfect from start to finish.

We started the first half right here onsite at ATP and got so much variety—the pond and dock, Reba (my old red truck!), and of course some of my trails.

Then we headed over to Patchwork Flower Farm, and talk about a burst of color! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and gave us a completely different look for the second half of her session.

As we were shooting, the storm clouds started rolling in. We kept watching the radar and pushing through, and I am SO glad we did. Those clouds made for some AMAZING photos! We wrapped up just in time, and the skies opened up on the way home.

Carly absolutely killed it, and there are WAY too many favorites from this session. So yes... there will definitely be an overshare coming!

Class of 2027—if you haven't booked your senior session yet, NOW is the time. Fall is filling up fast, and yearbook deadlines will be here before you know it!

We’re back from vacation! ☀️ Calm before the fall storm

We spent some time in Pigeon Forge TN and Charlotte NC, and it was nice to get away for a little while. I even left the real camera at home and only used my phone for photos.

Of course, I still came home with way too many hilarious photos of my kids and a ridiculous amount of flower photos from the gardens at Biltmore Estate—so naturally, I had to share a few. 🌸

But I’m officially BACK and getting caught up!

My order of operations is:
Replies → selections → back to editing! 📸

I could do every milestone session in black & white. ❤️

This beautiful boy just steals your heart with those big eyes! Those squishy cheeks and that perfect little grin get me every time.

Babies just don’t keep. Those chubby cheeks slim down, those tiny expressions change, and somehow they grow right before your eyes.

You think you’ll remember every little detail, but time has a way of making them blurry. Take the pictures. Capture the squishy cheeks, the gummy grins, the little looks that are SO them right now.

Because one day, these photos will be how you remember just how little they really were. ❤️
