Another senior session that felt so full circle. Madi’s mom and I were quite the duo in high school…just ask our parents! The moment I saw Madi, I could see so much of her mom in her, not only because her face is basically a copy and paste, but in her personality too. It felt like I stepped back in time.

What makes it even more special is that this is a family I was once such a big part of, and all these years later, we still find ways to show that we love and care about one another, even when life doesn’t always leave much time to get together. Madi’s grandma gifted me some beautiful vintage dishes at Madi's senior session. Those little connections mean more than people probably realize.

Mad is so beautiful. Her smile, her style, and the way she naturally posed made my job so easy. She is completely her own person, loves her Blazer and has such a cool, effortless presence in front of the camera.

Madi, I hope your future is filled with so many exciting opportunities, unforgettable memories and people who make you feel special. I just know you are going to do amazing things, and I feel so lucky that I got to capture this chapter of your life. 🦋

I am insanely behind on posting. I took a little break this summer to refresh and relax, and it's been so nice but I keep feeling like something is missing....it's YOU GUYS. Photography, for me, is a fine line between balance and burnout, and that's why I need seasonal breaks. Now I'm ready to get back at it!

But first, can we please take a second to appreciate how handsome Nathan is?! He is such a sweet kid. I loved that he leaned into the session and had fun with it, even finding a little Monster Truck as a souvenir.

I often hear from parents who say their son isn’t excited about pictures, won’t smile, or is just not into the whole idea. Trust me, I get it. I’m a boy mom too. But usually, when Mom isn’t the one behind the camera, they tend to loosen up and even ham it up a little.

My goal is to keep sessions comfortable, easy, and low-pressure. Will it feel a little awkward at first? Probably. I’m awkward too. But we will find our rhythm pretty quickly, and then it’s nothing but good vibes from there.

Some sessions have a way of stirring up the sweetest kind of nostalgia. Photographing Khloe’s senior session felt completely full circle. Her mom, Erika, and I go back to our middle and high school days when we were at the skating rink making up fake names to get boys’ phone numbers, hiding crop tops under oversized t-shirts before leaving the house, and occasionally sneaking off to the mall when we should have been in Government class.

And now… here we are.

Capturing her daughter’s senior photos, watching this beautiful, kind, smart young woman step into her next chapter with much more grace than we had. Khloe is everything you hope your kids grow up to be, and so much of her reminds me of Erika at that age.

It’s surreal how fast time moves.

I’m just so proud of Khloe, of Erika, and of the lives we’ve all built since those days. It's a reminder that even when we don't know exactly what we are doing, God has a way of bringing everything together.

Thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful moment. This one I won’t forget 🤍

The Picture Patch!

The Picture Patch is a pop-up photo experience where you bring your little ones, step into styled sets, and take your own photos...no photographer needed.

Each session is a mini time slot, but you're free to use any of the sets during your time to capture whatever moments matter most to you.

No more buying props for your own affordable sessions.
No more setup or clean up.

Just show up, snap, and edit however you like.

Each set will include simple posing ideas and lighting available for you to use.

I’ll be offering different themes with each pop-up, so there will always be something new.

Congratulations to Braxton, class of 2026! He just made DCI and will be marching with Music City! Such a huge, well-earned accomplishment. He’s worked hard and it has paid off!

We started his session at the Martinsville High School football field, where his mom, Angie, was fully prepared to climb a fence with a ladder… but thankfully Principal Bell saved us from breaking rules (and possibly bones 😅). Then we took a drive to Nashville, Indiana and walked around town. Fun fact: His Mom has lived in Martinsville forever and had never been to Nashville...what the heck, Angie?! 😂 She did bring me a bottle of mimosa wine as a gift, though, so I’ll let it slide.

Braxton absolutely nailed his senior pictures; he’s a natural… and somehow didn’t inherit any awkwardness from his mom.

Okay Sophiaaa!!! Why did a literal model show up to a senior session?? 😭🔥

I swear the Class of 2026 girls are all so chill and effortless, I love it. She’s planning to get her cosmetology license after high school (of course she is 💅). Speaking of hair, her tousled, wavy look is actual perfection.

The dress, the vibe, the location, everything just hits. She’s unreal. 💯

🎓 SENIORS!! 🎉

I’ve got a few time slots open before May 17, and I’m officially opening my books for one of my FAVORITE seasons… GRADUATION!! ✨

I’m booking weekdays + weekends, but fair warning! Spots have already been filling behind the scenes so don’t wait too long!

Families - I’ve got a very limited number of openings left before May 17 as well!

Why May 17, you ask?
Because after that… you’ll find me parked on the lake every nice weekend soaking up the sun on the boat 😎🌊
