The animal's images displayed in this album are animals up for adoption at the Morgan County Humane Society in Martinsville, Indiana. Please check on their site or call them if this pet is still available for adoption. You can find their web site at http://www.mchumanesoc.org/ . These are all pets, who at the time their image was captured, were needing a great home and human companionship. The Morgan County Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals. They operate the Morgan County animal shelter, the Morgan County animal control, and spay and neuter programs for the residents of Morgan County, Indiana. We have donated our photography services as a donation of our time to their organization and to support their efforts. Anyone know someone who knows insects, specifically the Pepsis Formosa? I am trying to figure out a few things like why a colony would be located in Veederburg, IN, area. For those of you who don't know this creature, they are often called Turantula Hawks. They are native to CA, AZ, NM, OK, and TX (being the state insect for NM). Today I only had an hour to play. I choose someplace close by to visit: Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park. This is a state park and there is a LOT to do here.
