Happy Anniversary to this lovely couple! They celebrated their very first of many more to come this weekend! And funny, it was just as windy a year ago as it was this weekend! 🌬

It is so fun to look back at this beautiful day at . This was such an incredible venue with so many beautiful places to take photos.

Had such a nice evening "light hiking" 😅 along the American River in Fair Oaks with Christa and Jeyzel. 💍

We had a few false starts to their engagement session, with rain delays and a change of location (and an international Bachelorette party! 🥳), but the end result was absolutely worth it!

When Jeyzel first reached out to me via my website, she wrote on the inquiry form that their wedding location was "in a forest and at a brewery." YES, please!

So, Elk Dorado National Forest and , here we come! I can't wait!!!

Samee and Enrique are engaged! 💍

Back at Upper Bidwell Park in Chico for the second time! ( Actually I took these last month but was thoroughly enjoying a social media hiatus 😅)

I love the openness of this park, the variety of the locations within the it and if course the mountains in the background. A beautiful location made more beautiful by sweet Samee and Enrique!

I'm so excited for this couple's upcoming fall wedding! October weddings are always a great time!

First time I’ve shot at Upper Bidwell Park in Chico, and it did not disappoint! 🤍

Between the light, the open space, and a couple who made everything feel easy, this session just worked.

The best engagement photos aren’t about the location, though. It’s how you are together. The laughing, the quiet moments, the way you naturally fall into each other without overthinking it.
