Day Four: Our biggest adventure today was horseback riding at the Heart 6 Ranch. We woke up, got some breakfast in (side note, breakfast at our resort is AMAZING. Fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, eggs with yummy stuff life feta and spinach... and plain ones for the plain people 🧐, anything you want for beverages and they got the meats... so worth it.
Anyways... we headed out and took some more scenery in on our way to the ranch. Upon arrival, it's relatively rustic with a beautiful setting. Super nice ranch hands, beautiful horses. Today will be the last seasonal riding day for most of the horses here as several will be in a trailer headed to Arizona tomorrow and most of the other ones will be on their way to Utah if I remember correctly. It gets much too cold in the Tetons for these guys to hang out... We were super grateful to be able to get a ride in before the season was complete.
Our ride lasted about an hour and a half after we all got paired up with a horse suitable for each rider. The ranch hands were very choosy on who got what. My horse's name was Patsy and according to reviews she is a feisty horse. She was great for me though!
Beautiful scenery, muti-layered terrain, great info shared by our guide. The Tetons hung out as an almost constant backdrop with a lazy little river showing up in the eyes frame every now and again.
After our ride, we headed back to Jackson Hole to spend our last full afternoon. We did a little lazy shopping, eating, hit up more coffee shops and did a quick TJMaxx run for another suitcase... dang shopping. We relaxed our evening away in the hot tub amongst the stars and cool mountain air. Met some super nice people and called it a full day!
