5 years ago, Harry was in front of my camera for his senior portraits. Today, he has a brand new headshot and somehow he went from 18 to his early twenties and what felt like about 5 minutes. 😄

I love a senior who understands the assignment: BRING THE OUTFITS!😎

Aaron came to his downtown Cincinnati session with several different looks, and I loved every minute of it. Because here's the thing about senior portraits: you don't have to pick one version of yourself.

You can be casual. You can dress up. You can change your mind. You can wear the outfit you absolutely love, but aren't sure where you'll ever wear it. You can bring the clothes that feel the most you. Then we take all of that downtown and see what happens.

Aaron's session gave us completely different. Looks against some of my favorite Cincinnati locations and his final images feel like him, not a generic senior portrait session.

If your senior has a closet full of clothes and a very specific sense of style, I want to see it! Bring the options, we'll figure out what works. 😉

Session 2 for Joey took us to downtown Cincinnati back in July! ❤️

We had a lot of fun exploring Cincinnati, starting at Pepp and Dolores, and ending at the reds stadium. We had some great views and made the most of a summer evening even if it looks a bit like fall! These are the kind of photos that really capture this particular season of life, him as he is right now.

And we're not quite finished yet! I'll be back with Joey this Sunday to photograph him doing what he does with track and field. I love when I get to capture more than one part of a senior story!

If my photography career was a person, this image says everything. After deciding to learn wedding photography for my own business I worked with Mya's Dad to gain experience. The day Mya was born was the day I had to take over being a lead so her Dad could get to the hospital to be with his wife. I still laugh (and 🙄) at how long he debated staying at the wedding thinking he still had time. 20 years, a full grown beautiful lady later, and I'm still creating images for people! Crazy how quickly time passes!

A week before photographing Bob Leslie for this Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine's "Find Your Purpose" issue, I had toured the MADE HUB for Manufacturing during a MADE Chamber event and Bob was one of the tour guides!

What impressed me most was seeing both sides of its mission in action. Local manufacturers have access to space, resources, and a community designed to help their businesses grow, while students are gaining exposure to skilled trades and Hands-On career paths they may never have considered.

It's easy to see why the MADE HUB has become such a valuable resource in our region. It's not just about manufacturing, it's about creating opportunities, fostering connections, and investing in the future.

Thank you, Bob, for helping build something that supports both local businesses and the next generation of makers, builders, and innovators.

I always love the opportunity to photograph fellow artists!🎨 Back in May I was asked to photograph David Estep for a feature in magazine, and I was immediately drawn to the colors and tones in his work. His pieces are amazing!

As creatives, we all tell stories in different ways. Some use a camera, some use paint, and I always enjoy getting a glimpse into other artists process and perspectives.

The May Women's issue of Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine gave me the opportunity to photograph a high school senior in a completely different context than the senior portraits most people expect.

Allison Keim, A recent Mason high School graduate, serves as Editor-In-Chief of The Chronicle and was recently named Ohio Journalist of the Year, the highest individual honor awarded by the Ohio Scholastic Media Association.

What began as curiosity about the stories happening around her grew into a passion for journalism, leadership, and mentoring young students. This fall, she'll take those experiences with her to the Ohio State University, where she plans to study public policy.

Congratulations, Allison, on a incredible high School career and all that lies ahead. It was a pleasure to photograph and feature you as part of this article!

One of my favorite parts of creating this year's Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine women's issue was getting the chance to celebrate and spotlight incredible women in our community and Jennifer Pierson was such a wonderful part of that.

Jennifer serves as Chief Brand and Advancement Officer at Linder Center of Hope and has been part of the organization's growth since the beginning. I always enjoy seeing her at chamber events, and it was so special getting to photograph her for this feature at in Mason.

I especially loved her thoughts on leadership, mentorship, and encouraging other women as they grow in their careers.

My favorite quote from her feature:
"Believe in yourself. You are capable, you are strong, and you can accomplish far more than you may realize."

Projects like this are such a reminder of how much I love using photography to highlight the people helping shape our community.
