A week before photographing Bob Leslie for this Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine's "Find Your Purpose" issue, I had toured the MADE HUB for Manufacturing during a MADE Chamber event and Bob was one of the tour guides!

What impressed me most was seeing both sides of its mission in action. Local manufacturers have access to space, resources, and a community designed to help their businesses grow, while students are gaining exposure to skilled trades and Hands-On career paths they may never have considered.

It's easy to see why the MADE HUB has become such a valuable resource in our region. It's not just about manufacturing, it's about creating opportunities, fostering connections, and investing in the future.

Thank you, Bob, for helping build something that supports both local businesses and the next generation of makers, builders, and innovators.

I always love the opportunity to photograph fellow artists!🎨 Back in May I was asked to photograph David Estep for a feature in magazine, and I was immediately drawn to the colors and tones in his work. His pieces are amazing!

As creatives, we all tell stories in different ways. Some use a camera, some use paint, and I always enjoy getting a glimpse into other artists process and perspectives.

The May Women's issue of Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine gave me the opportunity to photograph a high school senior in a completely different context than the senior portraits most people expect.

Allison Keim, A recent Mason high School graduate, serves as Editor-In-Chief of The Chronicle and was recently named Ohio Journalist of the Year, the highest individual honor awarded by the Ohio Scholastic Media Association.

What began as curiosity about the stories happening around her grew into a passion for journalism, leadership, and mentoring young students. This fall, she'll take those experiences with her to the Ohio State University, where she plans to study public policy.

Congratulations, Allison, on a incredible high School career and all that lies ahead. It was a pleasure to photograph and feature you as part of this article!

One of my favorite parts of creating this year's Mason Deerfield Lifestyle Magazine women's issue was getting the chance to celebrate and spotlight incredible women in our community and Jennifer Pierson was such a wonderful part of that.

Jennifer serves as Chief Brand and Advancement Officer at Linder Center of Hope and has been part of the organization's growth since the beginning. I always enjoy seeing her at chamber events, and it was so special getting to photograph her for this feature at in Mason.

I especially loved her thoughts on leadership, mentorship, and encouraging other women as they grow in their careers.

My favorite quote from her feature:
"Believe in yourself. You are capable, you are strong, and you can accomplish far more than you may realize."

Projects like this are such a reminder of how much I love using photography to highlight the people helping shape our community.

🎓 The biggest of the year is here… Graduation Day. 🎓

Here's something you don't see everyday - Spring prep... With 18" of snow still on the ground!

When we photographed The Good Neighbor Trailer for this month's Mason Deerfield lifestyle magazine, it was a sunny 32° day in February and somehow it felt amazing after weeks of below zero temps. Fast forward to now.... And we're in the 60s-80s wondering how it all changed so fast!

That is the kind of heart behind this story, no matter the season, this trailer is here to make it easier for neighbors to show up for each other. From shovels to garden tools and everything in between, it's a simple idea that makes a real impact.

Because building a compassionate community doesn't have to be complicated, sometimes it just starts with borrowing a shovel and helping someone out.

I loved getting to work with this amazing crew at Bed Bug Solutions Plus Pest Control!

This family owned and operated business, led by Mark and Jennifer. Winter, is right in downtown Mason and backed by a team that is not only professional, but genuinely nice, fun, and easy to work with.

They help homeowners, but they also serve many of the professional and community spaces we rely on, working quietly behind the scenes to keep environments clean, comfortable, and worry free. What they do matters more than most people realize. When they do their job well, you don't even think about it, and that is exactly the point. (hotels, care focused environments)

If you're looking for a trusted, local pest control company, they are definitely one to know. So grateful to connect with and support fellow Chamber members doing important work in our community!
