✨ Class of 2027 Seniors, I’m so excited you’re here! ✨

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to all of my new Class of 2027 senior families who have recently joined me 🤍

I can’t wait to capture this incredible season for your seniors. It truly is such a meaningful year, and I don’t take a single part of it lightly. It’s an honor to document these final memories of high school for your family.

If you’ve booked one of my Signature or Ultimate Senior Sessions, I’m especially excited to get to know you throughout the year and watch your senior’s story unfold through multiple sessions. There’s something so special about building that relationship and creating a full senior year experience together.

And for my Ultimate Seniors, I’m already looking forward to ending the year with you at your cap & gown session. Such a full-circle, emotional, and unforgettable way to celebrate everything you’ve worked so hard for 🎓

Something I see a lot with senior photos is families waiting just a little too long to think about timing.

And then suddenly the dates they actually wanted are gone.

Summer tends to be the easiest season for most seniors: things are still calm, the weather is (somewhat) reliable, and it doesn’t compete with the full swing of school and activities yet.

Fall is absolutely beautiful, too, but it books up fast once school starts.

If senior photos are on your radar this year, it’s worth getting something on the calendar sooner rather than later so you actually have options instead of leftovers.

Senior photo prep tip! 👇

One of the biggest things that makes or breaks your senior photos is what you wear.

Outfits that photograph best tend to be:
• Neutral or soft tones
• Minimal patterns (no busy graphics or logos)
• Something you feel confident in, not just what’s trendy

The goal isn’t to look like someone else. It’s to look like the best version of you!

This is exactly why I guide all of my seniors through outfit planning before their session. It makes such a difference in how everything comes together.

Before I was a senior photographer, I was a choir director.

I’ve always loved working with high school students — watching them grow in confidence, find their voice, and step into who they’re becoming.

That heart hasn’t changed.

Tessa’s session at Toledo Botanical Garden wasn’t just about beautiful blooms (though they were stunning). It was about helping her feel confident, comfortable, and completely herself in front of the camera.
