Would you believe not only were we losing light rapidly, but we were also fighting with a stranger-danger 2 year old!? Now this family is a regular client of mine, I know these little boys well enough that nothing phases me with these sweet kiddos! I absolutely love them! They know me and I know them! ❤️ But I enjoy messages from new clients sometimes when they warn me of their crazy children.. First off, I deal with my own psycho children daily, I doubt anything your child throws at me will surprise me (literally and figuratively 😂) Second off, as a photographer, it is literally my job to capture personality (as I stated in the last post) even from kiddos or animals that hate the camera! I have seen it ALL, every challenge from crying babies, screaming toddlers, crazy hyper dogs, autism spectrum, grumpy or awkward teens 🤓, YOU NAME IT!!! Do not be worried about your situation.. a GOOD photographer will know what to do and how to manage. Being a GOOD photographer means rolling with the punches, being flexible, getting creative, staying calm collected and having fun despite the challenges a photoshoot throws at you. Not every shoot goes 100% perfect and seamless by any means, but it's pretty great feeling when a client walks away from their shoot worried I wasn't able to capture much with their crazy family or life situation in that moment, only to surprise them by managing to capture smiles, joy, laughter and personality that went unnoticed in all the chaos!
TRUST your photographer! ☺️ We've got this!
