A visit to Charlestown is not complete until you climb all 294 steps to the top of this magnificent obelisk!😊

The Bunker Hill Monument is a 221-foot granite obelisk in Boston, Massachusetts, commemorating the Battle of Bunker Hill, a pivotal early battle of the Revolutionary War, though the battle mostly occurred on nearby Breed’s Hill. Completed in 1843, it features a museum with artifacts and dioramas across the street, and visitors can climb 294 steps to the top for views.

I always enjoy my walks around Boston. I had to stop and take this image of the historic Old State House, originally constructed in 1713. The red brick building is located at 206 Washington Street and is known as the site of the 1770 Boston Massacre. The building is a designated National Historic Landmark and currently operates as a museum. It is flanked by modern skyscrapers, including One Boston Place, which is visible directly behind the historic site.

Walking around Boston, I was drawn to this scene: the Millennium Tower, a 60-story residential and retail skyscraper completed in 2016.Standing in front of the modern tower is the steeple of the historic Park Street Church, which was built in 1809 and served as the tallest building in the United States from 1810 to 1828.This highlights the contrast between Boston’s historic architecture and its modern skyscrapers.

Whenever we are near the North Station in Boston at night, we try to enjoy the view of the Zakim bridge. I did a not too long exposure shot without a tripod😊

We tried the goodies at Kyoyo Haus during one of our visits to Cambridge and we liked them!😊

One of my favorite places to take a walk or take photos is the Acton Arboreum.

The Acton Arboretum in Acton, Massachusetts, is a 65-acre public conservation area featuring gardens, woods, meadows, ponds, and a bog, with trails for walking and wildlife viewing.
