The colors are always vibrant at Glenwood Cemetery. I seem to always get cloudy days whenever I decide to snap some photos😊

Glenwood Cemetary in Maynard, Massachusetts, is a historic 23-acre municipal cemetery listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Dating back to roots in 1820, it became an early civic project following the town’s incorporation in 1871.

Built with a geometric circular grid in the “garden cemetery” style, it originally served as both a public park and a burial ground where residents gathered for carriage rides and picnics.

It features the prominent 1888 Maynard family tomb, built by town namesake and Assabet Mills founder Amory Maynard.

It holds over 6,000 graves, including 54 Civil War veterans and numerous early community leaders.

It was rainy and cloudy when we dropped by Wilson Farm but the scenery was still picturesque!

Wilson Farm is a fifth-generation, family-run working farm and upscale specialty market in Lexington, Massachusetts. Operating from the same property since 1884, it features an expansive barn-style market offering farm-fresh produce, a scratch bakery, gourmet prepared meals, and an open-air plant nursery.

It was founded in 1884 by Irish immigrants James Alexander Wilson, W.M. Wilson, and George Reynolds.

The vibrant colors caught my eyes as I drove along Powder Mill Rd in Acton. The calm Assabet River gave me the opportunity to take mirror-like images. I wished the skies were clear but these will do for now😊

The colors are close to peak around Maynard accented by its iconic Clock Tower.

Maynard’s most recognizable landmark and prominent in the center of the town seal, the clock tower has been a beacon in Maynard since it was erected and gifted to the town in 1892 by Lorenzo Maynard to honor his father, Amory Maynard.

While driving from Artist Bluff, we passed by this eye-catching scene in Franconia of a brown Highland cattle grazing in a vibrant green pasture against a backdrop of a colorful autumn hillside covered in fall foliage. I had to park on the side of the road to take a few shots😊!
