In a world that often feels chaotic and uncertain, there are moments that remind us of the profound connections we can forge with others. Over a year ago, I found our family in a new church, where I met a family navigating one of the most challenging periods in their lives. Their spirits were heavy, & I was honored to guide them.

As we spoke, I could sense their struggle—loss, uncertainty, and the weight of the world on their shoulders. Yet, amidst their trials, there was a warmth in their smiles and a strength in their words, I felt an undeniable urge to help them, to be a part of their journey toward healing and new beginnings.

Fast forward to today, I had the incredible honor of selling them a home (I am also a licensed real estate salesperson). That house is not just a structure; it’s a symbol of hope, a fresh start, and a place where love can flourish. It’s where laughter will echo and memories will be woven into the very fabric of their lives.

Recently, Kirsten reached out & asked if I had availability to capture their family photos to include her extended family, valuing the tradition of precious memories. Fast forward to our day, we were confronted with a major ice storm, & cold temps yet they were troopers & we followed thru with our plan. Each click of the camera was filled with joy, a celebration of their journey together. The smiles, the laughter, and even the quiet moments reflected a deep bond that transcends the hardships they’ve faced. Not one person complained 🙌🏻

These photos mean the world to them, and it’s a reminder that even in dire times, the holy spirit is capable of incredible strength and connection.

I’m deeply honored to have played a part in their story, and I look forward to seeing how their new home becomes a backdrop for countless beautiful memories in the years to come. Here’s to new beginnings, lasting connections, and the beauty of community. 🙌🏻🙏🏻✨

Holiday Mini’s were amazing & I’m SOO humbled & honored for the support. Thank You Erica at for such a wonderful space us photog’s can create in.

As I sit here reminiscing, my heart is filled with gratitude for the incredible moments I’ve shared with this amazing family. What began as a simple senior photo session has blossomed into a treasured collection of memories spanning years.

From that very first shoot, we captured laughter, milestones, and the essence of growth. Fast forward to today, and I’m beyond thrilled to witness the joy that six beautiful grandbabies have brought into their lives! Each session has added another layer of love and connection, and I’m honored to have been part of this journey.

Beautiful Monarch Butterfly enjoying the sunflower "Helipad" 🥰

Fun facts: The broad, flat surface of sunflower blooms is perfect for large-winged insects to land on and feed, acting as a convenient resting and feeding spot. The bright colors and large size of sunflowers make them easy for monarchs to find from a distance, guiding them to the food source. While sunflowers attract adult monarchs for food, female monarchs only lay their eggs on milkweed plants. For a truly monarch-friendly garden, it's essential to also plant native milkweed species to support the full life cycle of the monarch butterfly.
