We braved the crazy wind yesterday evening for Abi's 16th birthday session, and I'm so glad we did! Abi is a natural and made this session a breeze! (No pun intended, ha!) The constant shifting of the clouds did make editing the greens to look consistent across all the photos a bit challenging for me, but I think, overall, they turned out great! The last photo is a creative edit.

Lol, funny story - Everleigh was over last Sunday for her birthday session, but she was having NO part of it! (Peep the last photo, lol.) But TODAY, on the other hand, she did amazing! If babies are having a bad day, I will absolutely reschedule and try again. 🫶

I saw this photo on one of my newborn forums from another photographer who is so excited for her new props(the paper, boxes, baskets and outfits on the bed). I use this same company to purchase props and I started calculating all of these props and there’s around $5,000 here. You read that right! I also have many of these props and I know what I spend.

I understand it is an investment. But the next time you question the cost of a session, remember that your photographer has so much invested into your session.
