I don't even know where to start with these two... They. Are. Incredible!

Esther & Stephen hit the nail on the head when it came to creating a feeling of love and support in their images. We started disliking the very first pose, but every one after was absolutely mesmerizing!

Let me just say, for being a big group, this family was amazing! I had such a fun time capturing the love this family shares and was so pleased with how their images turned out! The kids were so great and a joy to see interact. I certainly wouldn't be stretching the truth in saying that this has been my favorite family shoot, to date!

Fall Mini Session Update!

As promised, here is the location update for the fall mini sessions *drumroll* 🥁

Scottland Farm will be the host of this year's mini sessions! A big thank you to Leslie and Luke for the grand tour and working with us to get the mini sessions set up! I am absolutely thrilled to be able to offer these mini sessions and at such a beautiful location.

The date for these mini sessions is October 23, afternoon--hoping for lots of leaf change by then 🍂🍁

📖 Booking for these sessions will open this Saturday, September 17, at 6:00pm and will be offered on a first come first serve basis. A total of ( 8 ) sessions will be offered for this date, so be sure to look out for the booking post!

Welcome to K Ulmer Photography!

I wanted to take a minute and RE-introduce myself. I realize some followers have been here for some time, but other are brand new—which is great!

My name is Keith Ulmer and pictured with me is my wife, Tabitha. Together we live in Highland County and apart from being a photographer, I wear a great deal of other hats. I also work for the state of Virginia, farrier horses around the area, assist on Tabitha’s family farm and co-own a farming venture in Rockingham County with my sister and brother.

I have spent the last few years in Colorado and Wyoming in feedlots and on ranches before moving back to Virginia and meeting and marrying my wife.

I look forward to working with and photographing the wonderful people of Highland and the surrounding areas to “create memories to last a lifetime”.

P.S. Tabitha told me I forgot to mention my newest “hat”. We are expecting our first child any day now!
