It’s been the busiest season of my life, so I did zero advertising for spring pics, BUT thankfully a lot of you remembered and messaged me to book 🙏🏽 here are my own kids in the bluebonnets, featuring midday sun 😂🪻🤍

I’m noticing a trend….of people, influencers, artists, stepping back from social media. In this line of work, stepping back can be a huge road block in acquiring new clients. BUT staying involved and relevant in social media can be overwhelming, time consuming, and too much pressure, especially when you have children. I have prioritized family and health, putting social media on the back burner this last year. I relinquished control and decided that whatever clients made their way to me are the ones I’m supposed to support ✨ and I’m so thankful for those of you who found your way to me, and for the ones who came back and trusted me again 🩷 this last year has been very busy for me, and I have SO many images I want to share- I have just found myself so bombarded with negativity and the vibes are so low when I open to post. But I know it’s been a while and it’s time to spread some of the joy I’ve felt through documenting your special and sacred moments.

And maybe only five of you will actually see this post since I’ve been missing 😂 and if you made it this far… thank you for being here and supporting me 🤍 have a great Valentines weekend, cozy up, and I look forward to your November babies 😉🩷❤️🤍🩷❤️🤍

What a year ✨ 2025 was full of ups and downs, hope and struggle, and lots of growth. Documenting your sacred births, your beautiful families, your first snuggles, and all the in between was truly incredible Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year ✨ I spent it with lots of family, lots of cookies, and lots of lovins 🤍 I have been busy with family shoots, births, and newborn sessions the last few months, and am bad about posting- BUT I am so looking forward to all the beautiful birth stories to be captured this year and so much more. Here’s to pulling out my camera for my own family this year, and posting more content 😂🥂

Full Birth Film of Gentry Michael 💫

"Here is our birth story…
I called midwife around midnight and was still not even sure I was in labor yet. I had maybe 4 contractions while watching a movie about 5-6 min apart. Nothing major. I’d been having contractions off and on randomly for over a week so I was like waiting for a different sign like water breaking or more intense contractions closer together. I got up to go to the bathroom and immediately the cramping was more intense and I felt pressure. So I called midwife and videographer just in case and they said they were on their way just to be sure. I walked around and felt water slowly leaking which wasn’t like last time and so figured I was just peeing from maybe him being so low.
Then that’s when everything came on so suddenly with contractions about 1-2 min apart. I was on the floor begging Michael to get the water level in the birth tub higher because I knew he was about to come out. Instinctively I knew it was getting close because even in between contractions the pressure was unbearable. It was like I was trying my best to hold him in.
I got in tub once the water was at a good temperature (thank goodness Michael did great and knew what to do) and it was maybe 2 songs playing TOTAL on my speaker till he was head out and in my arms. That’s how I remembered time frame ha. I think labor total was 30 ish min from having the painful contractions to me holding him. Birthing in the water was a blur but I felt so much safer in that tub than on the floor. It was as if my body knew…”get in there. It’s time”.
Now here’s the crazy part—my midwife didn’t make the birth 😂 She was on speaker phone driving as fast as she could but she was about 1 min late. I pretty much had a unintentional free birth last night. It happened so fast so it was just Michael and the older 4 girls there plus my amazing videographer Katie who was only 15 min away. She captured the entire thing. They all watched me deliver and catch him by myself. (Collins slept through it upstairs because we honestly thought we had more time). Thank goodness for Katie because she stayed calm and guided Michael so he wasn’t freaking out too much. Can’t even believe how fast it happened. 😭😭😭😭 Our baby boy is here! He looks so much like his sisters. He’s already a great eater. And we are so in love."

This sweet, cheesy, little bubs, came so fast! He really said “midwife? What’s that?” 😂 Thankfully I only live 12 minutes from them, and made it 🙏🏽 Surrounded by mom, dad, and his five sisters….yes FIVE. He just had to make an unforgettable entrance 💫
