I finally got my hands on one of these! Sharla's Christmas catalog was a true labor of love, as many of my friends and clients already know. I’ve known Sharla for almost 20 years. We met at the grand opening of her store in 2004. I was a customer first, and eventually she became a client of mine. I’ve always considered her a friend. I have photographed products for her website and billboards, I’ve taken her portraits, and photographed parties at her store, and in her home over the years. So when she called me this summer and asked if I could shoot and design her very first Christmas catalog, it was an immediate yes. I love when I say “how hard could that be?” I’m fairly certain most catalogs have a team of people working on them, but this one had a team of Nicki and Sharla. There may have been times when we thought we signed up for more than we could handle, but we never said that out loud. We pushed through some late nights and got it done. We were friends before, but we are family now. Y’all go to her shop and pick one up and do some shopping! I promise she will check several gifts off your list. Sharing a couple of pages here.

Remember when I told y'all to watch this girl? It was only a couple years ago when Haley came in for headshots for her college auditions. I'm apologizing in advance for all the headshot posts that are coming in the next few days. This has been the absolute busiest summer season for me yet and I haven't been sharing my gorgeous clients with y'all. We'll start with a familiar face, the stunning Mollie-Claire Matthews. MC wanted these headshots to be relaxed, fun, and a little bit edgy, and I think we nailed it! As always, she makes my job easy. Can't wait until next time MC! Love you ❤

It's not fair that I've been holding onto these pictures and not sharing them with y'all. They bring me all the joy! The Class of 2021 brought all the fun ideas and creativity to their senior sessions this year and this car wash session was one of my very favorites. You know it's going to be a good one when I bust out the bubble machines. Even though there was a storm blowing in and the wind was absolutely bananas, we had a BLAST. Brooke graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, and is moving on to her dream school in sunny California to study screenwriting at Chapman University! Brooke is one of the funniest and smartest kids I know, so there is no doubt her future is bright! I know I can't wait to see what she creates. Thanks for playing in the bubbles with me Brookie!

I took a little break from posting my work to focus on wrapping up the Class of 2021 and getting the Class of 2022 started, but I'm ready to share some of my favorites with y'all! I saved some of the best sessions to close out this year's senior season. First up, the Miracle Triplets in an arcade. SO MUCH FUN! I love me some bright color and there was no shortage of that for these pics. I know I say every session is fun, but how could I not have fun shooting claw machines and skee-ball? Danielle, Sydney, and Lauren are all headed to San Diego State University together this fall! Congrats to them! Everyone please send extra loving vibes to their sweet mama, who will be sending all three of her babies off at once.
