It took a couple months to design, mill up the wood, and build my studio but it's finally finished. I only have the one back drop finished at the moment, but have 12 more in the works (from alien planets, space, under water, deserts, jungles, and forests) just need more black felt fabric. So next weekend I'll get a chance to start filming my next short film. The studio table top and slide out table for camera, tripods, and lights have a glow in dark green resin inlay. The grid pattern allows me to perfectly alien movie sets to backdrop to camera, lighting, etc... As always built solid light a tank, the slide table rails can handle 550 lbs per side, so I can lean on it when shooting without fear of collapse. Frame work is 1.50" x 3.50" and 1.50" x 2.00", shelves are 1.00" thick, table top and slide table are 1.50" thick, with 0.50" thick birch ply wood wrap, Casters can handle 2,200 lbs, so can handle anything I store in it or will be shooting on it. I have more studio lights that are not out in this photo to allow me to change from white to almost any color. The movie sets are 18.00" x 18.00", studio table is 1.50" x 47.00" x 23.00, slide table is 1.50" x 39.50" x 22.00".
