Hey guys! ❤️ Just checking in with a little album update!

We promise—we have NOT forgotten about you or your photos! We absolutely love how excited you guys are to see your albums, and honestly, it means the world to us when you reach out because you’re excited to see them. 🥹📸

We’re just asking for a little extra grace right now. Life is BUSY over here! Between kids and their activities, full-time jobs, canning season, sunflower sessions, weddings, regular sessions, and just everyday life—we are running about 100 miles an hour. 😂 All three of us work full-time outside of photography, and we’re squeezing in editing every extra minute we can!

But here’s the thing: we refuse to rush your memories just to get an album out the door faster. Your photos matter way too much to us for that. We want to take our time, edit them with care, and give you an album that we’re proud of and that YOU absolutely love. ❤️

We’re still here. We’re still editing. We’re still shooting. And we’re working our butts off behind the scenes! So please, please give us just a little grace as we work through these galleries. We love and appreciate every single one of you, and we promise they’ll be worth the wait. 🫶🏼📸

Everyone say hello to the NEW Mr. & Mrs. Long!! 🥹💍❤️

We REALLY wanted to wait and post a big sneak peek from this wedding… but y’all, I DO NOT HAVE THE PATIENCE. 😂

From the details, to the bridal party, to the ceremony and reception—this entire day was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. And these two?! 🥹 You can just SEE how incredibly in love they are and how good they are together.

Of course, what better place for it all than Sunset Ridge?! 😍

And can we PLEASE talk about this sunset?! 🌅🔥 It was LITERALLY a paid actor. 😂 It showed up, understood the assignment, and SHOWED OFF for the new Mr. & Mrs. Long.

There’s just something about getting to shoot a wedding at one of your favorite venues. ❤️

And when we say “favorite venue,” we’re not just talking about the beautiful building, the gorgeous scenery, or all the little spots that make a photographer’s heart happy.

We’re talking about the PEOPLE.

The team at Sunset Ridge has become so much more than a team we work alongside. They feel like family. They’re friends. They welcome us in, make us feel like we’re part of their crew, and somehow every wedding here feels a little bit like coming home.

We genuinely look forward to every single wedding we get to photograph here—not only because we know it’s going to be beautiful, but because we know we get to spend the day working alongside some pretty incredible people.

Rain? Didn’t matter.
Cloudy skies? Didn’t matter.
Beautiful golden sunshine? Obviously gorgeous. 😂

This field has seriously shown OFF in every single kind of weather, and every session we’ve done out here has been absolutely beautiful in its own way. 😍

✨ THIS WEDDING. MY GOODNESS. ✨

We had never photographed a wedding at Sparrow Hill before, so we truly didn’t know what to expect… but WOW. 😍

The venue was beautiful, the colors were absolutely perfect, and the scenery gave us one gorgeous backdrop after another. But the people? They made the day.

This couple was an absolute dream, and their bridal party understood the assignment. 😂 They were cooperative when we needed them to be, completely down for whatever we threw at them, and when it was time to party… they PARTIED. 🥂💃

From beginning to end, it was just one of those weddings that was FUN to photograph. Beautiful people, beautiful details, lots of laughs, and a whole lot of love.

To this incredible couple—thank you for letting us be a part of such a wonderful day. We had an absolute blast capturing it all! 📸✨

Can we just pause for a minute and LOOK AT THIS BEAUTIFUL SENIOR?! 😭🤎

When Carly’s mom first scheduled with us, she told me that Carly was nervous about having her senior pictures done. She wasn’t sure she was going to like how she looked in photos, and Mom was nervous that she might end up hating them.

Wellllll… Carly absolutely KILLED IT. 🔥

This girl was a NATURAL. Her beauty just SHINED, but what made this session even more special was watching her become more and more comfortable as the evening went on.

By the end of the session, she was relaxed, laughing, trusting us, and completely ready for that camera. And THAT might just be one of the biggest compliments we can receive as photographers.

Because yes, we want to give you beautiful photos. But even more than that, we want you to feel beautiful while we’re taking them. We want you to feel comfortable enough to let your guard down and let us capture the real, genuine YOU.

Last night was one of those sessions that reminded us exactly why we do what we do. 🤎
