Picture this: The kids dipping their toes into the creek, looking for crawfish and sailing paper boats. The whole family is just laughing and having fun because this mini session is about simple summer memories outdoors. If it's dark enough, we might even see a lighting bug or two.

I have a spot in mind, less than a mile from the studio.

Before I go all in, I'm gauging interest. Who would love to participate?

Hey y'all, it’s been a minute.

May has been… absolutely bananas.

Somehow we’ve been in a drought, but almost every session on my calendar has still been rescheduled because of rain. Make that make sense.

And then, just to keep things interesting, I had a surprise appendectomy right before this month's Mini Session Week.

So if I’ve been quieter than usual over here, that’s why. I’ve been resting, rescheduling, catching up, and trying to get everything back in order.

The good news? Since May was such a mess, we’re making June extra fun.

For June, I’m opening TWO weeks of Mini Sessions instead of one!

That will include:
Red, White, and Blue Minis
Golden Hour Meadow Minis
Plus headshots, birthdays, etc....

More details are coming soon, but I wanted to pop in and say:
I’m still here.
I’m healing.
I’m catching up.
And June is going to be a good one.

This is one of the photos I can share from this past weekend.

Not because it’s the most important moment of the day… but because it doesn’t give anything away.

A lot of what I photograph never makes it to social media. Usually, it’s families who keep their images offline (and their privacy always comes first). But sometimes it’s brands who need their images shared on their own terms.

So I grab a quick detail shot for myself while the real story is happening… right there in the frame, just beyond the focus. It’s not about keeping secrets. It’s about knowing what’s mine to share and what isn’t.

These invite-only brand parties and events? They’re exactly the kind of moments I’m trusted to capture.
