Just dropping in to tell you that your family photos don’t need to be posed to be perfect. Those Pinterest boards can be intimidating, but the real perfection lies in photographing your family loving on each other, running around a tree, and having fun. These are the moments your kids will remember and truthfully, the more fun you have, the better experience your kids have during their photos too. The Grimes family was all smiles and I’m so grateful they trusted me with their photos. 🤍

Abygale, Mitchell, + baby Lusignan 🤍 my obsession with these two and their love story started back in October when I had the absolute privilege of photographing their wedding. I practically squealed with excitement when Abygale messaged me asking if I’d do their maternity photos. For some photographers, this is strictly business. For me, I actually grow to love and care for my clients, especially those who invite me back time after time to document some of the biggest moments of their lives. 🥹

A hill I will die on: make time for bridal photos!! We took these in maybe 20 minutes in this adorable downtown Mechanicsburg Airbnb and I’m so glad the bride allowed time for us to capture these. 👰🏼‍♀️💍

Some sessions are about beautiful photos. Others are about something so much bigger.

A couple weekends ago I had the honor of donating my time to photograph a Make-A-Wish send-off celebration for a sweet little girl in remission as she prepared for the trip of a lifetime to Hawaii. What stood out most wasn’t just the excitement for her adventure ahead—it was the incredible love that surrounded her.

The Mechanicsburg community showed up in the most beautiful way, proving once again that when one of its own needs support, this community wraps its arms around them without hesitation. The kindness, generosity, and encouragement in that room was something special to witness.

Having a servant heart has always been important to me, both in life and in my work. Photography allows me to preserve moments, but it also gives me opportunities to serve others, and I’m so grateful for that. Being a small part of this celebration was an honor.

Wishing this brave girl a future filled with so many more celebrations, dancing, happiness and health 🩷🌺🌴

I don’t think I’ll ever get over the fact that families trust me to document some of the most meaningful chapters of their lives.

It’s a privilege I never take for granted.

This session was especially special—a mama, her beautiful daughter, and the sweet baby boy she’s currently fostering. Different paths brought them together, but the love between them was undeniable. Watching them laugh, snuggle, and simply be together reminded me that family isn’t always defined by biology—it’s defined by love.

Thank you to every family who invites me into these moments, trusts me with your stories, and allows me to preserve memories that will be cherished for generations. It means more than you’ll ever know. 🤍
