I've always felt like the "clients" I have always turn out to be more my friends than clients. I'm so grateful that (knock on wood) I've never had a bad experience with one of my clients. Somehow, each of you turn out to be some of my closest friends, and I can't say how much I appreciate all of you.

So let's get real here and address a few things. Yes, I've been through my own personal hell in 2020; that doesn't mean that your experience of 2020 and planning your wedding is ANY less valid or stressful. While I haven't been in your shoes in this situation, please know that as your photographer I am here for you. I will support you in any decision you make, and do everything in my power to help you. I love you all so much. (Even though y'all make me constantly update my bridal guide because you're so dang photogenic๐)

I know many of you are insecure about whether I'll be able to photograph your wedding with everything I've been through. Please let me assure you: you are SO INCREDIBLY thoughtful to put my needs before your own on one of the most important days of your life, and I just can't say how much I love you all. Secondly, I got into the wedding photography world because someone cancelled on my good friend at her wedding. I strongly believe that everyone deserves pictures to document this special day in their relationship, and come hell or high water, I will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
I was meant to be a wedding a couple's photographer. Doing this brings purpose, meaning, and joy to my life.

When everything happened in March, I didn't know if I could keep doing it. I had an incredible couple who has become some of my closest friends who let me do an anniversary session for them just to see if I could do it. As I was processing their images, I found myself crying because of how happy I was when I saw how they looked at each other. Photography is something that I HAVE to do because I love nothing more than showing you all how you look at one another when the other person isn't looking. The love, adoration, and joy in their eyes is breathtaking to me, and will never get old.
