Sooooo.... ONE step closer to finally getting these online photography courses launched! 🎉📸

I just finished the FREE Introduction video, which will give you a good idea of what to expect from the full courses when they're released. A short clip is below! 😁

This one covers the basics and includes many of the custom graphics I've been creating. When the paid courses launch, students will also get access to downloadable resources like cheat sheets, diagrams, guides, camera-setting references, and much more.

As the classes progress, they'll get much more hands-on. Some lessons will be filmed during actual sessions so you can see posing, lighting, flash photography, depth of field, and real-world problem solving in action—not just me sitting behind a desk talking. 😆

If you've ever wanted to get off Auto Mode, better understand your camera, or simply take better photos, this series is being built for YOU.

In all seriousness, fall is my absolute favorite time of year. The colors, the cooler weather, the bonfires, the flannels... it's Wisconsin at its best.

The funny thing? While fall feels a long way off, the best dates disappear long before the leaves start changing. If you're thinking about family photos, senior photos, couples sessions, or just want to capture that perfect Wisconsin fall color for yourself, now is the time to get on the calendar BEFORE THEY'RE ALL GONE.

If you've messaged me during the Fall and I've responded at 11:47pm, just know I was probably editing photos while surviving on caffeine, protein shakes, and pure grit. 😂

Now excuse me while I mentally prepare to edit approximately seventeen million photos. 🍁😂

I was going through some older photos and came across this.
A rainbow seemed fitting today. 🌈
Not because of a month on the calendar.
Not because it's the popular thing to post.
But because it reminded me of something I believe pretty strongly:

❣️Everybody deserves to feel seen.
❣️Everybody deserves to feel valued.
❣️And everybody deserves to have their story told.

Photography has introduced me to people from all walks of life, different backgrounds, different cultures, different beliefs, different families, and different love stories. And honestly? That's one of my favorite parts of this job.

Last saturday was the Main Street Memories Car Show in Medford! I had the pleasure of walking the strip a LOT of times, taking opotos while trying not to melt. And despite a snarky comment on the headlight video I posted earlier this week- I DiDn'T gEt pAiD tO OnLy TaKe PiCtUrEs oF HeAdLiGhTs! I let it go at the time, but am feeling a bit petty today. 🤣🤣 Some people just can't help being jerks. The video was just a little personal project I wanted to try, and I thought it turned out pretty cool! Apparently at a certain age, you forget what patience, tact or decency is. But- I'm not there.....yet. ;-)

Well....since the "travel" portion of the Travel Print Sale isn't happening, who wants some clean, summery prints to freshen up their home, cabin, lake house, office...or even the camper? 😆

Turns out gas, hotels, and airline tickets all require this thing called "money," so instead of wandering off to photograph some faraway mountain, I've been digging through my archives and finding some of my favorite Wisconsin landscapes, waterfalls, wildlife, sunsets, and scenic prints.

Wildflowers.
Prairie grasses.
Quiet country roads.
The kind of images that make you slow down for a second.

Turns out you don't always need mountains in Montana or sunsets in Iceland to create something beautiful- although I want to! Sometimes it's growing right along the edge of a Wisconsin backroad.

All prints are professionally produced on fine art paper and available in the following sizes:
