I’m trying to get better at posting more often (sometimes I’d rather be living in the moment not on social media) and captions are SO HARD FOR ME. So here’s a bit about my day 🙂 I’m sitting out on the deck with the doggos right now, the weather is GORGGG since the heat went away. I spent way too much time at the greenhouse buying flowers today (would also LOVE to take photos there, a cutie toddler mamahood or family/maternity session 😭). Planted them all and decorated my deck, about to head out to eat with my family. I hope you’re all enjoying your sunny day! ❤️

I recently shared a bit on my stories about my concept sessions that have made their way into my packages this 2026. Here’s an example of what something like that could look like!
My concept sessions are an opportunity to work closely together to create a specific vision. As a creative, my inspo is ever changing whether it be new locations I want to try, a fun wardrobe idea, or setting a whole scene to photograph. That’s where YOU are so helpful!!! If our visions align, if you trust my eye for capturing, this may be a good fit 🙂 These are discounted from my full packages with all the full package perks as a way to say THANK YOU for helping my visions come to life. I keep an updated concept list with general vibes/mood boards for different concepts updated as the seasons go by, and what my specific needs may be at the time. My summer concepts are different from my winter concepts, so if this is something that interests you I recommend you keep looking as they change and alternate! I’ll keep an updated list in my highlights section on Instagram, as well as my Pinterest board (I’m happy to send your way if you need help finding it). ❤️

In a world where AI is so accessible to everybody (and usually free, mind you) why pay a photographer for your family photos? There’s something so sweet about taking a magical moment in time and pausing it to look at in the future. Our relationships with our babies change, our loved ones pass, and sometimes all we have are these moments captured in single photos. AI wouldn’t be able to guide you into a night of giggles and love and get your raw emotions saved forever. AI creates a vision of “if life was perfect this is what we’d look like” but life isn’t perfect. Sometimes there’s tears at your Photoshoot. Sometimes they’re happy tears, sometimes they’re tears of a scraped knee. A scraped knee needs a mom’s comfort, and that’s real life right now. It’s leaving a night of playing under the sunset and curling into a warm bed feeling like you had the genuine family time that you’ve been craving. We crave real, we crave authentic. ❤️

Wrapping up my 2025 year I am so thankful for the amount of creativity I got to express this year. Here’s a reminder that packages are changing in 2026! I will no longer be offering mini sessions- I’m not a ✨only hang out for 15 minutes✨kinda gal, and I’ve FINALLY come to the conclusion that mini sessions are not where I get my cup filled. I LOVEEEE creative sessions, and putting my heart, soul, and all my creativity into fulfilling the concepts in my head. My new packages will cater to that passion I have, while being able to offer mini sessions prices to those who wait for them all year ❤️

Also, I sell gift certificates! This is the perfect gift to give to loved ones that will be cherished forever. I can give out digital copies so it’s also a great sentimental last minute gift if you’re starting to panic (I relate) 😂 ❤️
