I have been photographing this family since Jen and Vito got married and I have known Jen even longer! I’m always so honored to host families in my studio in these precious early days when their family has just grown. Today I get to meet Baby Jack! I met Jackie working together for one of the sweetest couples (shout out ) and I was so excited when she reached out to capture this time for her growing family. Cherry blossom season was so good to us this year. 🌸

One of the biggest things I tell parents before a session is this: your children do not need to “perform” for photos. The best sessions happen when kids are given space to explore, run, play, snuggle, pick flowers, and simply be little.

Julie and Angelo embraced that so beautifully during their session — allowing their littles the freedom to be themselves while soaking in this season of welcoming their new baby sister. There was so much joy in the movement, curiosity, and in-between moments.

The magic is almost always found there — in the running back to mom, the giggles, the tiny hands collecting treasures along the path. When children feel free to move and have fun, your images naturally become more honest, connected, and full of life. Julia & Mitch - the perfect spring day celebrating a couple who is beautiful inside and out. The morning of the wedding, Mitch was told that the post wedding beer will be one of the best he ever has and he confirmed that is absolutely true. The moments we spent quietly by their side immediately following the ceremony are my favorite of the day. Julia and Mitch went back to the bridal suite and spoke about their vows and how excited they were to begin this life together. They held hands, hugged, shared some kisses, embraced their family, bustled the dress and soaked it all in. I hope those moments are just as imprinted on their memories as they are in mine. Congrats you two!
