2026 “Summer Concert Series In The Park”
6:30-8:00 p.m.

Tomorrow is our last free outdoor concert of the season (rescheduled from the August rainout). The musical guest is "Circle of Fifths," with a song list combining classic rock hits along with danceable/party tune favorites. The band’s three lead singers bring outstanding vocal harmonies, and their skillful musicianship and infectious, crowd-pleasing performances make "Circle Of Fifths" a great live music experience!

Bring your family and friends to Thorndale Park for a summer evening of spectacular music. Don’t forget the lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets! The concession stand will be open too, with refreshing treats to keep you cool on a warm summer night.

Nominating Packets for Park Board Commissioner Available

Nominating Packets are available at the district office in the Connolly Recreation Center for the April 2027 consolidated election for Medinah Park District Commissioner. There are seats available for the completion of two two-year terms and two four-year terms.

Petitions may be filed starting at 9 a.m. on November 16th. The last day to file petitions is November 23rd no later than 5 p.m. We encourage all residents interested in serving on the Board to pick up a packet.

Embrace the vibrant side of life with our exciting 9th Annual Color Run. Join us for an evening filled with color and fun. Bring your family and friends to partake in the festivities.

Your participation fee covers a dynamic mile loop that can be conquered multiple times, ensuring an evening of exhilarating activity. Additionally, each participant will receive a specially designed running t-shirt, stylish sunglasses, and two color packets to enhance the colorful experience. (Additional color packets may be purchased.)

Sweet treats will be available for purchase from Kona Ice.

Due to a temporary building issue, the Medinah Park District office / Connolly Recreation Center is closed on Monday, August 31.

The fitness center is closed and all classes normally held at the Connolly Recreation Center will not be held today/tonight. The building will reopen tomorrow.

Arts & Crafts
This program encourages creativity and self-expression through drawing, painting, sculpting, and hands-on crafting projects. Each session gives students the space to explore different mediums and develop fine motor skills and confidence in their own creativity.

Park Studio Dance classes are starting soon!
For ages 3+

Dates: Thursday classes begin September 10, and Monday classes start September 14, and are held at the Connolly Recreation Center, 22W130 Thorndale Avenue in Medinah.

Our progressive curriculum focuses on dance concepts and core techniques as well as teaching the importance of respect, positive attitude and hard work. In our classes students will develop grace, rhythm, coordination, creativity, and confidence in a fun, safe and structured environment. IAC’s dance classes offer stability, a sense of community, socialization and structure. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Classes: Dance I, II, III, IV, and Pre-Point classes are available in programs run in cooperation with Innovation Arts Connection. Classes are for ages 3+. Various times and days of the week.
