This shoot was bittersweet as it not only included my own son, senior graduate, but it included his friends group! I’ve watched them grow up, most since they were about 5/6 years old. Love these kids. 🥰🥰🥰

Mom’s… Feeling overwhelmed with graduation day?

Here are a few pictures you need to get, save some time before and after to grab these so you don’t get mad at yourself later.

1. Pre graduation, in cap and gown, preferable in a home space where you would normally take your pictures for life events. (With cap, holding cap, holding pendant of their college, etc) Add a pic in with just mom, just dad, just grandparents and the usual family pic.

2. If possible get a shot at the school by the school sign or name.

3. Grab some impromptu shots of your child in cap and gown laughing, looking off to the side, talking to friends. Make this a tighter shot of mostly your child in the moment.

If you get a few of the above I think you will feel accomplished and not regret missing something from the day.

Put a post it in your pocket to remember.

I had so much fun doing this Senior photo shoot with their college t’s for a great friend of mine Andrea Biwer. She wanted to give this gift to her daughter and her besties. They turned out great and I couldn’t just post 2 or 3!!

Our son, Carson has officially signed to play football at Washington University in St. Louis (Wash U)!!! We are so excited I cant even believe we are here!

From the countless hours of practice and prep, tough workouts, unforgettable memories with his teammates, and the coaches who believed in him, every moment since he stepped on the field at age 5 has led to this incredible milestone. The Football program was a blessing we did not even understand at the time we signed up.

Signing Day is that moment where years of hard work, sacrifice, heart, and love all become real.

Wash U is not only an amazing academic home but a place where we know he’ll continue to grow, compete, and thrive both on and off the field. We are so proud of the young man he is, not just as an athlete, but as a son, teammate, and friend.

We can’t wait to watch what is next!!!!
