What an absolutely AMAZING day at Youth Mentor Club today! 🌊☀️🛹🍕

Today we celebrated a huge milestone as we awarded our VERY FIRST Merit Reward Certificates to three incredible youth who have shown outstanding perseverance, courage, consistency, sportsmanship, kindness, and encouragement toward others throughout our program. 💙

🏄 Micah received a brand new surfboard
🛹 Ari received a brand new skateboard
🛹 Noelle received a brand new skateboard

These awards weren’t just given away — they were EARNED through weeks of showing up, working hard, encouraging teammates, and growing both in and out of the water. We are SO proud of these kiddos and the example they are setting for the rest of the club. 🌊

To celebrate, we wrapped up the evening with an awesome pizza party at Cibelli’s Pizza with our Youth Mentor Club family! 🍕🤙

A HUGE thank you to Globe Brand Skateboards for donating these complete decks and to SoftTech Surfboards for the amazing discount on these Bombers! Your generosity helped make these kids’ dreams come true. 🙌

Thank you to all of our volunteers, mentors, families, and supporters who continue to believe in these children and pour into their lives week after week. This is only the beginning. ❤️

Yesterday was something special at Youth Mentor Club 🌊🙌

We made the call to head over to Tables Beach—and wow, what a difference it made! The water was calm, the waves were gentle, and it created the perfect environment for our beginners to feel safe, confident, and successful in the water.

All nine of our kids got to surf and truly experience the joy of riding waves. Seeing their smiles, their courage, and their growth out there was nothing short of a blessing.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—creating space for kids to connect, build confidence, and just be kids in a healthy, uplifting environment.

So grateful for each child, each volunteer, and every bit of support that makes days like this possible 💙
