Amy White Nature Photography Just a self-taught nature photographer, her navigator husband, and their Pug, Jesse James! That was about 5 or 6 years ago. I ventured out from there.

I got into photography because of a beautiful Cardinal that showed up in my apple tree one day. I live in far northern Wisconsin, and the sight of a Cardinal was unheard of. That Cardinal opened up a whole new outlook about nature and how beautiful our surroundings can be. Went to every local place that might have wildlife, butterflies, barns, etc. I am totally self-taught. There are things I will

never understand in photography. I don't do it to sell, the pictures bring me all I need. Proving that anyone can do it. So get out there and see what this beautiful country has to offer! If you don't have a love for nature, you can borrow some of mine!

Beautiful, Circus.
He is about the most beautiful horse that I have ever seen. He was truly made from all of these things. I am so glad that he was able to live his whole life wild and free, as it should be. ❤

Horses have carried people through history. I haven't had the pleasure of owning a horse, but I'm sure those that do or did will for sure tell me that horses are healing. And that they feel like a ride on their horse can bring peace to almost any situation they might be in. ❤

This stallion is keeping an eye on the bigger herd. He was probably banished from them or chose to set out on his own, or is older, possibly lost his band and just doesn't fit in anymore. An outsider, perhaps. ❤

I apologize for being absent the last week. I returned from a Black Hills vacation today. I am sad that I didn't get to go to the McCullough Peaks this spring, but with the gas prices....I just won't spend that much money for gas. I was lucky, however, to get to see some beautiful wild horses at the sanctuary in Hot Springs. It is always nice to visit there, the landscape is gorgeous. I have to download my pics, but in the meantime, here is gorgeous Running Bear for you to enjoy! ❤
