Blue Hour from a mountain summit in the White Mountains of New Hampshire on Sunday evenings Sunset .
I started hiking a bit after 4 pm to reach the summit before sunset . Droves of Labor Day hikers were descending while I was going up . At the summit I had it all to myself so I took the pack off , had a few snacks and watched the sun , clouds and mountains do their thing . It was a very peaceful moment in time .

Evening on Chocorua . Now that my knee is doing better I am very excited to be able to get back up those mountains to watch sunsets and sunrises . here is a few images I took a few nights ago from the summit of Mount Chocorua . I got up there well before sunset so I was able to just sit and watch the light finding its way through the peaks . There was just enough wind to keep the bugs away so I could eat my Pepperidge Farm cookies in peace .
