More from the swearing-in of Judge Javier Bailey II m, a moment that represents more than a new title.

At just 34 years old, Judge Bailey makes history as the youngest judge in Shelby County, while continuing a family legacy rooted in law. He represents the third generation of Bailey attorneys, and now, the third generation has taken a seat on the bench.

From the oath, to the gavel, to the family and community there to witness it, these are the moments I love documenting, the ones that will mean even more years from now.
