There’s a moment that happens when I’m behind the camera that’s hard to explain unless you’ve felt it.

It’s not about posing or perfection. It’s the quiet smirk when they lock eyes. The laugh that slips out when they realize, oh… this is really my person. The way their bodies fall into each other without thinking.

That’s the part of love I chase.

As a photographer, I don’t just want to take pretty pictures—I want to document feeling. The in-between moments. The soft pauses. The realization that the person in front of you is the one you’re choosing forever. That kind of love isn’t loud. It’s steady. It’s real.

With Macey and Chris, it was everywhere—in the way they smiled, the way they laughed, and the way the world slowed down when they were together. And I’m so grateful I get to capture love like this. 🤍
