Black background equine portraits have become a popular form of photography. Horse owners love to show off their horse against the dark backdrop. Many people even have them printed on canvases and hung in their homes. The clean black backdrop allows the focus to be entirely on the horse. Most would consider these pictures a form of artistic photography. I love black backdrop photos of horses because it gets rid of all the distractions. ROCKY is a rockstar in these photos.

This is Minnie. She's a 16-year-old mini Irish Cob at Kohl's Cobs in Oregon. She's got the sweetest temperament and she seems to enjoy being photographed. I just love her blue eyes.
