Before sunrise on the lake. I took this photo before extreme cold, and it was quite nice, calm morning. The lake had almost no waves so I decided to go with a bit longer exposure to show some water movement near the ice.

Freezing morning on the Lake Michigan but despite the cold I enjoyed my photo walk on the beach. Here is the sun rose above the clouds and illuminated a sea fog on the horizon and that drew my attention. I also noticed that the flocks of birds were periodically flying in the distance so I took several images with them in the frame. This one I liked the most.

This was my most memorable and exciting photographic experience so far. I wanted to see Aurora Borealis since I was a child but only this year, several decades later, I was able to see that unforgettable colorful phenomenon with my own eyes.
