He specializes in sincere, emotional portraits of children, families, and models. I am a man in the pursuit of Truth. I know that sounds idealistic. Or maybe even pretentious, but I don't mean it that way. I mean it simply and to the point. The Sweet. The Full. I want to learn about balance and love and forgiveness, right now, and for the rest of my life. To this end I am relentless. I have experi
enced the consequences of passivity and the control of fear, so instead, I choose Life in all its messiness, in all its beauty, and in all its shortcomings. How does this relate to my work, you ask? In every way possible, I say. It is the core of why I bother to create at all. Partly because I simply can't help it. To not create would be to cease to be myself, in part. To not create would be selfish. I am meant to create. It is part of how I love and feel and share. But all that tom foolery aside, here are the concrete details. I'm 31 and I live in Brooklyn. I lived in Ventura, CA for a stint, where I went to Brooks Institute of Photography for Visual Journalism and then began shooting what I prefer to call creative portraiture. Before that, I was your run of the mill, small town, family and wedding photographer in Boise, ID. God bless it. I still can't help but go back there every couple of months at least. It is a gentle and quiet place. So that's me. Shoot Straight. Stay Salty.
