Some love stories begin with a swipe. Others begin with a prayer that the right person is still out there.

When Jake reached out back in winter to plan a surprise proposal for Lexus, I could immediately tell how special this one was going to be. He quietly brought together the people she loves most including her mom, sister, and son to create a meaningful moment she would never forget.

Fast forward to their wedding day, and it felt exactly like them: joyful, intentional, and full of the kind of child like laughter that makes you forget there’s a camera around. Watching the little family they’ve built together celebrate this next chapter was such an honor.

Donna and I grew up cheering together, so getting to photograph one of the biggest days of her life was such a full circle moment. I still remember back in 2022 when Donna DM’d me looking for a session with the new boy she met! Fast forward to last week, I got to watch them promise forever surrounded by the people who love them most.

Their day took place at the DoubleTree, a place that’s been part of Donna’s family for years. Her dad has worked there for as long as I can remember, and he even married Donna’s stepmom there! It made the whole day feel that much more meaningful.

Donna was the definition of a laid back bride. She trusted the process, let the day unfold exactly as it was meant to, and soaked in every moment. We laughed through family photos, celebrated with the sweetest people, then ended the night with champagne popping in front of the castle.

Donna and Daniel, thank you for letting me be a small part of such a beautiful chapter. It was so good catching up with your family again, and such an honor to tell your story from the very beginning all the way to “I do.” 🤍

Jacob and Lexus Marie’s story is one of those beautifully unexpected ones. From their first impressions (equal parts “wow, they’re cute” and “okay thank God” 😂) to quiet moments that slowly turned into certainty. This kind of love doesn’t rush. It builds. It steadies. It chooses, over and over again.

By the time we were wandering through the White Mountains-chasing waterfalls, stepping through snow, and soaking in that golden sunset glow. You could feel it in everything. The way he looks at her. The way she melts into him. The kind of laughter that doesn’t need to be posed or prompted.

Their relationship?
Goofy. Faithful. Enduring.
The kind that feels like home, even in the middle of the wild.

Boston showed off a little, but honestly… so did they. ✨

The best part of sessions like this isn’t just the locations, it’s the way the evening unfolds. No rush, no pressure. Just exploring the city together, laughing, and capturing moments that feel like you. For Alex & Anna’s engagement session they wanted something that felt timeless. We started in the Boston Public Garden, stopped up Beacon Hill past historic brownstones, letting the city move around us while they stayed wrapped up in their own little world. And just when the sun started to dip, we ended along the Charles River (photos to come in part 2).
