One day of the Roberts Reunion we were all driving to a family hike.. we passed a big clearing in between trees and I immediately thought - ā€œTHAT is where I want to do the Maternity photoshoot!ā€ Then when we got to the hike my sis-in-law said she saw the same clearing and had the same thought šŸ™‚ Itā€™s always a little tricky planning a photoshoot at a location that is unfamiliar but prior prep (and a prayer to find a good spot;)) made it such a fun and enjoyable experience! Plus with a beautiful GLOWING model itā€™s not that hard to get good results šŸ˜‰

Wishing we could all go back to when the weather was this beautiful! So glad my family trusts me to take their family photos :) This past week they gave the greatest gift you can ever give a photographer - they showed me the printed and framed photos on the walls of their home šŸ˜Š!

I donā€™t do a lot of landscape photography but I recently did a photoshoot at the Payson temple for a young man preparing to be baptized and I couldnā€™t help my self! In my opinion, cloudy days are the best days to have a photo session bc you still get lots of light without harsh light creating lots of shadows.

Self portraits are such a challenge! But Iā€™m so glad I took on the challenge and recorded this special time being pregnant with my last baby! Prepare next for a photo dump of baby Abigail!! Towards the end of my pregnancy I hired a photographer to take my photos - I had a vision of a winter wonderland photo shoot and she did absolutely amazing realizing my vision!
