The Whitewater River was out of its banks yesterday along the Whitewater Canal Trail in Metamora, Indiana. 🌊
The flooding made for a powerful sight as the river rushed, reminding us just how strong nature can be. Stay safe if you’re visiting the area and use caution near the trail and riverbanks.

The sound of chainsaws and the smell of fresh-cut wood return to historic Metamora, Indiana this Friday through Sunday as the Chainsaw Carvers take to the village once again!

Watch skilled artists transform massive logs into incredible works of art right before your eyes, with carvings available for purchase throughout the weekend.

Then on Sunday at 2 PM, gather with us at the Car Bridge for a special Memorial Day Ceremony as we honor and remember those who served our country.

Following the ceremony, featured chainsaw carvings will be auctioned to the public.

A weekend of art, history, and remembrance awaits in Metamora.
