My name is Janie Hobbs and I am a Missouri photographer serving the Mexico area as well as Kansas City when asked! I have always loved people and creativity, and I find photography to be a means to combine both while offering personal pictures to clients that they can treasure forever. My desire is to give you a joyful experience and provide you with photos that feel like "you." If you have any qu

When I am not taking pictures, I'm taking care of my one year old, spending time with my husband who also happens to be my best friend, and spending time with other family and friends! A tripod didn’t stop us from getting family pictures done, and I think it added some extra curiosity to the toddlers which helped them stay engaged.

I've been a little MIA over the past few weeks, but that doesn't mean I was completely off the grid. Here are some snapshots of a fun session I was able to do a few weeks ago. This family kept me on my toes in all the best ways! I love the challenge of a big family, small kids, and different sceneries. And most of all I love meeting new people and learning more about who they are. I think that is one reason I love this job so much. For me it's not just about the picture; it is about the people in the picture and giving them a special moment they can keep forever.
