Some weddings are beautiful, and some weddings feed your soul. This one did both.
When Tucker and Riley first reached out, their plans looked a little different. But when they decided to trade their original venue for a beach wedding in Gulf Shores, I was completely on board. And wow, was it worth it.

The sound of the waves, the ocean breeze, and an intimate gathering of family and friends created the perfect backdrop for their day. I've always felt at home near the ocean, and spending the day on the beach capturing these memories filled my cup in the best way.

Riley is one of those people whose joy is absolutely contagious. She was so excited to marry Tucker, and her sweet spirit shined through every moment of the day. And let's talk about her girls—they were the ultimate hype squad! From getting ready to celebrating on the beach, they brought so much love, energy, and excitement to every part of the day.

Nick & Katie

Some weddings just feel like home, and Nick and Katie's day was one of them.

From the moment I arrived at their beautiful family farmhouse, I was welcomed with so much kindness. It felt less like walking into a wedding full of strangers and more like spending the day with people I'd known for years.

There were so many meaningful details woven throughout the day. Katie wore her grandmother's veil, a beautiful family heirloom that added so much sentiment to every moment. Her mother also handcrafted the sweetest ring holder, making the day even more personal and special. And while I was photographing those details, a few very important members of the family—their beloved fur babies—made several appearances and were more than happy to supervise my work. 🐾

Surrounded by family, friends, and so much love, Nick and Katie exchanged vows before celebrating with the people who mean the most to them.

🎓 Congratulations, Wyatt! 🎓

This proud little Bulldog is officially a kindergarten graduate!

We started his graduation session at school to celebrate this milestone and then made our way downtown to the beautiful new train mural painted by Ray Harvey Art. The bright colors and hometown charm made the perfect backdrop for a young graduate who's ready for his next big adventure.

Kindergarten is in the books, and first grade is calling.

This ain't our first rodeo... but it is Colter's first birthday! 🤠🎂 Little cowboy Colter smashed his cake, played in the bubbles, and even convinced big sister Andi to jump in on the fun. I'd say that's a successful day on the ranch!

Part 2 with Haley & Alex 🤍🌿

As the rain rolled through, we made our way to the greenhouses at Callaway Fields, LLC and somehow the rain made everything feel even more romantic. Soft light, warm air, greenery everywhere… it was basically a dream session. I am officially obsessed.

And by the end of the session? They were dancing in the rain with absolutely zero concern about getting wet — just fully soaking in the moment together. Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions. The ones where people let go a little, laugh a lot, and just exist together 🤍

Rain on session day usually sends people into panic mode… but honestly? Haley & Alex’s engagement session turned into the sweetest reminder that sometimes the backup plan is the better plan 🤍

Instead of rushing around trying to dodge storms, we slowed down and leaned into a cozy in-home lifestyle session with the three of them and it felt so natural, warm, and full of love. The kind of session that tells a story instead of just posing for photos.

Once the rain settled, we finished the evening in the greenhouses at Callaway Fields and I already cannot wait to share part 2 🌿 Rainy day sessions always have my heart.

Allison & Richard’s Kentucky Derby inspired wedding day was the perfect mix of elegant, heartfelt, and deeply rooted in family. From getting ready at their family farmhouses to saying “I do” on her uncle’s property, every part of the day was tied to the people and places that shaped them. You could feel the love and history in every moment.

Even the bouquets were made from handpicked florals gathered from their neighbor’s garden — such a perfect touch for a day that felt so personal and meaningful.

And honestly… a dog in a tux as the ring bearer? Absolute perfection 🐾🎩

Their families and friends made this day so incredibly special. The kind of people who welcome you in like one of their own and remind you what weddings are really about: love, legacy, and celebrating the people who matter most. What a beautiful day to be part of 🤍

Kirstyn & Daulton’s engagement session at The Callaway Jewel was something special.

It was a full day, but the moment we started… everything just clicked.
The light showed up, these two brought the best energy, and this favorite local venue did what it always does—clean, all-white elegance, a tree-lined drive, and the dreamiest outdoor spaces (yes, the pool moment 😍).

Kirstyn added the sweetest touch with a mini bouquet from her florist, the amazing, carleyjeansfloral tying everything together so effortlessly.
