There are photographers whose images stay with you forever. For me, Steve McCurry is one of them.

For more than five decades, Steve McCurry has traveled the world documenting people, cultures, and humanity through his lens. His portraits—especially the iconic Afghan Girl—have become timeless because they go far beyond beautiful photographs. They invite us to look into someone’s eyes and truly see the person behind them. Walking through this exhibition reminded me that a great portrait isn’t just about perfect lighting or composition. It’s about presence, connection, trust, and capturing something real in a fraction of a second.

That philosophy is something I strive for in every Boutique Portrait session. My goal isn’t simply to photograph how someone looks—it’s to reveal their confidence, personality, and the unique story that shines through their expression.
