Super grateful for the invitation to join Seattle Blender User Group's team during this year's Seattle 48-Hour Film Festival! It's been a few years since I last took on one of these fun challenges, but it's always an amazing time with amazing people!

Today is April 23rd, 2025. My final day of full-time employment.

Since August of 2023, I've been pursuing my dream job as a freelance videographer while also working a full-time day job at the same time. It's been a challenging journey, but one that I've grown to love.

Today, I can finally say goodbye to full-time employment in favor of a part-time opportunity that allows me much more freedom and flexibility to continue to grow my small business. My anxiety is real, but so is my excitement. This is only the beginning of my path to full-time self-employment, and I'm excited to see what the coming years have in store for me.

I'm so grateful to my wife, Amanda, for cheering me on and letting me stay up past my bedtime while I edited video project after video project long into the night. Also, to all the clients who helped me reach this point, I'm so grateful for your trust and support. I can't wait to bring even more energy and focus into my future projects!
