My passion in life is to travel and photograph the world; even the minutia that makes up everyday life. At a very young age, I fell in love with photography while visiting Tulum, Mexico. Born and raised in South Florida, experiencing another culture was very moving and inspired me to snap away with a Kodak disposable camera. I find that there is something beautiful in different cultures, people an

d communities. Even the ugliness of the world has its eesome and capturing its wonder through my perception and perspective is what motivates and inspires me. Photography allows me to vividly express my own personal encounters, by capturing the moment...and ultimately the greatest satisfaction is sharing with others the splendor and multiplicity of people and places, as I have experienced it. While there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see. ~Dorothea Lange

The day flew by, but what a memorable day it was.

From the groom’s jokes and tearful, poetic chatter (she said he was cooked 😂) to the bride’s laughter that carried throughout the day — the whole celebration was filled with love, romance and lots of 305 energy!

Every detail was thoughtfully and beautifully curated by the bride and her family, and you could feel the love they poured into every part of the day.

Back in March, I shared the story of how I met Britt & Armando — you can peep that reel for the backstory. So being there to document such a special chapter in their lives felt incredibly meaningful and honestly, such an honor.

And then there was the father-daughter dance… because DID THEY JAM TO Kid Rock’s Bawitdaba?!

Yessss. They. Did. 😂🔥

That moment deserves its own post, so you already know I’ll be sharing that one next. 🥹🤍

And then… we brought out the cake. 🎂

The perfect ending to this little at-home first birthday session — a tiny birthday girl, a cake all to herself, and the kind of perfectly messy moments worth remembering. 🤍

One whole year of her. ✨

Knew this day would come but it doesn’t make it any easier. My ima Elsa passed away on Sunday. Ima helped raise me, and while our relationship wasn’t always easy, it was filled with love in its own way.

She was a woman of deep faith who loved Jesus with all her heart- I’m pretty sure that her prayers saved me from my darkest days. Everywhere she went, she gave out little bibles to strangers (which drove me bananas) but people always accepted them with a warm smile. She touched many lives and is so loved.

She could talk for hours, make me laugh, test my patience, but reminded me that family is beautifully imperfect.

I’m incredibly grateful for the years we shared, her prayers and all the love she gave to us and everyone she encountered.

Overwhelmed by all the messages and condolences, thank you. 🙏🕊️🤍

WTF is a studio?!

Before their big vacation across the pond to celebrate baby A’s first birthday, mom wanted to get the pics taken. With little time and so much to do we decided that doing it at her home would be the most convenient. She helped setup a studio space with a mini backdrop and it was perfect. Had to edit the backdrop a bit to extend it further but anything for the perfect pics.

We snapped these family portraits before the cake fun. Coming up next…

There’s something beautiful about saying yes before knowing exactly what comes next.

That’s the heart of The Flamencult Effect —trusting the process, embracing the mystery, and creating space for connection.

It was an honor to document an experience built on intention, curiosity, and community. Thank you for your kind words and for trusting. 💃

Before families were my clientele, this was my vibe AND STILL IS! I’ve always leaned more into creative work (which I haven’t made time for lately) but if it involved nudes, paint, nature and flowers, I was ready.

I’ve been shooting for over 20 years and creative art + street photography were my passion.

Thanks to a lovely teacher/family/client referring me to her teacher friends, I expanded to photographing families, kiddos, babies, couples and intimate weddings.

Forever grateful to everyone that’s allowed me into their nucleus with my camera to capture memorable and intimate moments. Thought you should also know this about me and if this is your vibe too, let’s have some creative fun. 👩‍🎤

“Can we take pictures at home?”

Yes. And honestly, sometimes that’s where the magic is.

The couch where you read stories.
The kitchen where little hands help bake or go ask for treats!
The nursery you spent months preparing.
The spaces that make up your everyday life.
And the spaces where you also share with your furry family.

Cozy corners, familiar spaces, morning cuddles, snack breaks, laughter in the kitchen, and the little details you’ll want to remember years from now.

Home sessions aren’t about having a picture-perfect house. They’re about preserving this season of life exactly as it is.

Home is always a beautiful backdrop.
