I have been the moderator and primary photographer for my school’s yearbook for the last 6 years. In that time, I have come to develop a deep love for photography. I believe that being a teacher becomes one of my greatest strengths as a photographer... especially when it comes to working with children. I love to capture moments. op and make you do something that feels unnatural to you. I want to capture YOU - your children, your family, your personalities... at their best. But more than anything, I want you to feel like yourself... I want to capture you with your family, at your most comfortable. That’s what I want my photography to be about. I want it to be real. We aren’t all perfect 100% of the time, and our families’ greatest, most real moments consist of interacting, and talking, and laughing. At first, I was reluctant to begin photography as a business. “What if I’m not really that great? What if I can’t capture that moment?” But after years of prodding from friends and loved ones, I decided to go for it, and thereby came the birth of “Photos by Jenise”. My goal is for this to remain an affordable, fun, and pleasing option for all those involved, including myself!
