Join us for a meaningful workshop—an intimate space for reflection, healing, and reconnection with ourselves and those who came before us.

Through meditation, photo therapy, and the tactile act of embroidery, we will gently explore memory, identity, and ancestry. Each participant is invited to bring a black-and-white photograph that holds personal meaning—a story of love, loss, survival, or legacy.

With thread and image, we will weave bridges between past and present, between pain and joy—honoring the invisible threads that connect us to our ancestors.

If you don’t have a photo, don’t worry—we will provide one for you at the gallery.

Please remember to sign up via Eventbrite. Where: The Camp gallery
🗓 Saturday, April 18

I truly hope you can join us 🤍🧶

Do you know those people you meet in life who don’t stand in the spotlight… but quietly carry the biggest hearts?

This piece was born from them.

Little Big Heart is a whisper of gratitude—a quiet homage to mothers everywhere. To their invisible work of nurturing, guiding, loving… and giving, endlessly, without asking to be seen.

Created through textile and hand embroidery, this work embraces fiber as something deeply emotional and feminine—a material that holds, repairs, and protects… just like motherhood itself.

The heart is small, almost fragile at first glance. But within it lives something immense. Each stitch carries care. Each thread extends outward, like love that knows no limits—beyond time, beyond presence, beyond words.

Encased in an acrylic box, it becomes a precious offering. A delicate treasure.
A reflection of what a mother gives: life, in its purest and most enduring form.

This installation is called INHERITED TIES.

At the center is a family bed passed through generations of women in my family. It holds stories of care, love, strength, and survival. It is both an intimate object and a space where the presence and resilience of women can still be felt.

On and around the bed are authentic family photographs, printed on canvas, from the mid-18th century (just after the invention of photography) to today. On each one, I created machine embroidery inspired by lace from Bruges in Belgium. Through this slow gesture, I try to repair and hold onto these fragile memories.

Some images are sharp, others intentionally faded, reminding us how easily memory can disappear if it is not preserved and passed on.

A red thread runs through the installation like life—like veins, like bloodlines, like emotional ties—symbolizing the strength of women, both strong and gentle.

This work honors the women who came before me, those who will come after me, and the resilience that connects us all. Don’t miss this exhibition : HEALING GODDESSES III - RESILIENT , curated by / at Doral cultural arts center 📍8363, NW 53rd. St. Doral (FL).l, until April 2nd.

Honored to share that Mother’s Nest has been acquired through by a collector devoted to supporting local artists — truly meaningful 🤍

This piece was part of “Under the Red Tent”, an immersive collective exhibition with .thread.art.studio.miami, and I had the privilege of meeting the collector and sharing the story behind my work.

Mother’s Nest is a quiet space of protection — a womb, a shelter, a gesture of love.

Fragile yet resilient, this small nest is reclaimed by love.
