definitely has been a while since i have posted because life has been absolutely crazy, & i have had to focus more on my life & my current clients than showing up on socials.

AND… that’s okay!

in this season of leaving Colorado, to moving to England, to moving back in with my parents until early next year in Virginia, all while preparing for our sweet baby girl, life has felt chaotic. and to top it all off, saying bye to my sweet husband while he trains for 4 months in TX… all this to say it’s been a weird season. But in the midst of the crazy, I have continued to cling to my steadfast Jesus & He shows up through the small and big moments. Without much marketing at all, I have been able to book a beautiful elopement for next year in Portugal with the most amazing couple & have added a couple more beautiful weddings to my calendar for 2027. All this is because of Jesus still blessing me in the midst of a chaotic season. I am definitely not fully booked for 2027, so if you are waiting to reach out, my dms are open 🤍 I am booking all over Europe & the United States!

Now being back in Virginia, I am excited to jump back in headfirst into marketing on my socials & showing up for you guys more consistently until I go on maternity leave. It will be a blessing to make videos & posts for you guys, so drop suggestions down below on some things you would love to see me chat about 🤍⬇️

28 today, i am so proud of you. this year has had many blessings, many changes to our lives, but you have been so steady and consistent. your faith in Jesus has grown so so much & you make me so happy to call you mine every day.

i’m sad we are apart to celebrate today, but know you are so loved & cherished by me & your little daughter.

the kind of chic trend is super cute, but i feel like the word “chic” doesn’t truly capture the real and authentic (i know buzzfeed word) that we are all striving for. heartfelt feels real, deeply personal, & emotion filled, like a little walk with my husband through our new home in England. and let’s celebrate the little moments and the mundane, it can be so beautiful 🤍

As a wedding photographer, I’m always on the hunt for cutie coffee spots for my couples that I work with, and here I found the cutest truck with amazing coffee! The owner was so so kind & we will for sure visit again! They also attend events with their truck, so it’s a must for a morning wedding or for the couple who loves coffee ☕️

a little excerpt from my quiet time with Jesus this morning-

2 Timothy 3:10-11a: “You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness, my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me…”

Paul is talking to Timothy here and saying Timothy has followed the teachings of Jesus, the goal of making Jesus’ name known, staying in the faith, in patience, love & steadfastness while enduring with Paul in suffering and persecutions for their faith.

This was truly a challenge and eye opening passage for me this morning. I pray that my life follows these characteristics, no matter the persecution or trial I may face for Jesus. I pray that I will be known as loving, patient, striving towards the goal of sharing the life of Jesus to others, following & knowing the Word of God, staying in the faith, & that my conduct towards others reflects Jesus’s conduct & character.

This is a reminder to those who call Jesus Lord to abide in these things, no matter the challenges. & for those who don’t know Jesus, that’s okay. You are still loved here & even more so loved by our Heavenly Father.
