I feel like a broken record saying how behind I am, but baseball season is in full swing and every evening is consumed by it!

I am finally able to be working on these sweet little faces. Every year I just love visiting these kiddos more and more. And I am always so impressed and downright proud of those little 1-2 year olds that bravely lead the way and set the tone for the rest of their classmates. (This is coming from a person who hid behind her parents and barely spoke to anyone she didn't know until she was like 12.😆) It is a LOT to have to sit in front of a strange person, with a huge light and camera pointing at them. I never fault any of them for being hesitant!

Only ONE crier in over 60 kiddos. Again, SO impressed. I think daycares may just be my favorite and I love when they remember who I am and grab my hand as we're walking out to take the group photos. Just the sweetest. 🥰

I am hoping to get digitals sent out by Friday morning if you ordered one and prints should be in by the beginning of next week.

A whole mess of ball photo previews for you!!

I am a little bit behind, but prints should arrive before too long and if you ordered a digital download - those will be delivered in the morning at 8:00 a.m.

Thank you, thank you Mifflinburg Little League for asking me to do your photos this year and being flexible enough to do some indoor photos. It is so much better than trying to fight the lovely Pennsylvania Spring elements - like snow and 30 degrees or bright sunshine, 25 mph wind and/or sleet and rain. 😅

For anyone who missed their photo day this past week or anyone who wishes to get a sports photo done, I am doing two separate evenings this coming week for anyone that would like to sign up! I've got the chain link backdrop that would be ideal for softball/baseball or the "smokey stadium" or a fun laser beam background, to choose from.

Just use the link to sign up for a spot! The time slots are just a way to try and keep some organization/have a guideline of when everyone will be there, to keep wait times down.

The littlest ball players will always have my heart. I don’t know if it’s the eager grins or the ears that get squished by the hats that are far too big for them yet. 🫠 But I could just eat them up!!

But now for my little spiel on order forms - which is my LEAST favorite thing of all time.
For all sports/daycare/preschool sessions that I do -pretty, pretty, please take notice to the minimum spend amount listed on the forms. A lot of photographers make you purchase a package before being able to order any of the “fun” things like memory mates, magnets, etc. I do not do that. However, because of that, if you ONLY order from the ala carte section, there IS a minimum amount that is required to be met to place an order.

I always want to explain this in the most appropriate way and I am certainly no good at properly explaining things face to face. Because between you and me, I hate any talk having to do with money. In a perfect world, I could do this for free. But I put a lot of time and energy and so. much. money. into doing this, so if everyone only bought (1) 5x7 print for $7 - after taxes and paying to print the photo, I’d be left with basically having to photograph 30 kids to even be able to cover the backdrop I am using. I hope this makes sense!! I also want to keep it fair across the board for ALL parents. So I am definitely cracking down on following that rule. From now on, I will be reaching out to anyone who does not meet the minimum amount, but if you read this and would like to reach out first - I’d love you forever. Because I HATE this part of the job. Sooooo much.

Also, in the same breath, if you’re struggling financially, please just let me know that. I am literally one of the most understanding people and if I can help out while you’re going through a rough patch, I absolutely will.

Can’t wait to see my West End Little Leaguers tonight!! I am going to be mixing things up a little bit this year and am bringing the indoor set up - outside!

🚨 Unfortunately, I am finding myself dealing with a lot more than I’d like to be, this tax season and I do not think I can take on any more right now until I can get things sorted out. When I say I am STRESSING. 😩 - I’m nearly to the point of quitting.

So as of right now, I will not be posting for these indoor Spring minis at this moment. Hopefully, I can get my life in order soon and, if that happens, I will try to make these happen ASAP.

While my evenings are all overtaken this Spring - one thing I CAN do much more easily, are sessions during the day for preschools and daycares! I am always looking for more of those because I can easily do them while my own children are in school. If you know of any that have at least 30+ kiddos, feel free to give my name or reach out! I've missed seeing smiling faces in front of me!

I added two more short windows for these Spring portraits, if anyone is still interested. When I say it is difficult to carve out any time in the evenings already I mean, Wednesday evening, I've got a cheer meeting at 5:00. One going to baseball practice in one town at 5:30 and another one going to baseball practice in a different town at 6:00. So, things are looking great! 😆 If anyone knows how to split themselves into multiple different people, please let me know.

I kind of dropped off the face of the earth directly after Santa sessions and I do apologize!!

I've gotten a few messages about Spring photos and I am definitely trying to get a few things posted, but I am very positive that I will not be offering any outdoor mini sessions until the summer time. I've got 2 boys playing baseball on different teams, in different towns and one of them is also playing soccer, so my evenings are about to all be spent on a field....somewhere.

But I can utilize the studio for a few indoor sessions earlier in the days, starting with some Spring "school" portrait type minis, this weekend.

As usual, these are approximately 5 minutes for a classic headshot pose. For these Spring ones, I do allow you to pick a full body option, if you would like. There are only two backdrops that will allow that this year and they are both noted on the collage below - as are the background options that will be available.

I can add more spots, if needed.

Spot claiming protocol:
1-2 child = 1 spot
3 children = 2 spots
4+ children = 3 spots

(I am going to post directly after this with a rough idea of a backdrop for some indoor Spring minis, as well!)
