I’ve been under the weather for almost a week, so I was sad my coughing kept a lot of the birds away. But I was SO glad I finally got a shot of the pretty boy who always seems to fly away when I try to photograph him. Today, he had a lady with him. I was hoping she would sit next to him on the branch, but she hid behind the back of the feeder. I’ll have to keep trying! The last one had me cracking up (bird in motion 😂).

This morning was absolutely peaceful with the crisp in the air and the sun shining. I’ve been making a point to sit outside before my little one wakes to get some peace and fresh air.

I finally wrapped up editing all the photos from the Mother’s Day event at , and my heart is still full. The day was everything I love about community — chalk-covered clothes, crumb‑dusted smiles, coffees in hand, and so much genuine love in every corner.

Capturing these moments reminded me why I always say “memories are free”. While not every session can be, events like this matter to me because they’re accessible, joyful, and open to everyone.

Thank you to every family who came out and made the day so special. I hope to see you all again very soon.
