At Lauren and Colin’s Ogontz WM wedding last weekend, we saw a brilliant evolution of the 2010s brooch bouquet—swapping heavy, rigid metal globes for an airy mix of vintage jewelry and fresh greens. It is practical, grounded, and perfectly aligned with how modern couples plan.

🌸Sustainable Sourcing: Swapping imported, short-lived cut flowers for repurposed vintage jewelry cuts down on floral waste while giving forgotten antique pieces a second life.

🌼 Bespoke Storytelling: Couples want details with real personal weight. Anchoring a grandmother’s brooch or a lucky flea market find into wispy greenery turns a standard bridal accessory into active family history.

🪻Reusable Heirlooms: Unlike pure floral bouquets that fade in a week, a hybrid arrangement lets you easily snip the wires post-wedding to retrieve the jewelry—ready to be worn again, passed down, or mounted in a framed shadowbox.

What family heirloom piece would you wire into your bouquet?

Happy 4th Anniversary, Lauren + Blake!

Four years ago today, we were celebrating these two in the most beautiful, sun-drenched garden wedding at Lauren’s parents’ home in Greensboro, VT. From the quiet morning moments with their pup to signing the Ketubah, saying “I do” surrounded by daylilies, and dancing the night away under the tent, every single detail of this day was pure bliss.

Cheers to 4 years of marriage and a lifetime to go! 🥂

Swipe to look back at a few favorite moments from their beautiful Vermont celebration.

Getting these film scans back from LeZot Camera of Caryn and Kevin’s wedding was such a great reminder of why we love shooting analog. Film just has a way of capturing the real feel of a summer day in the mountains.

It’s been great looking back at how the day unfolded—from the quiet, relaxed moments getting ready in the morning right through to the joy of their outdoor ceremony. We love being able to document a day that feels this genuine from start to finish.

Swipe through for a few favorite film frames from this Vermont weekend! 🤍

It’s hard to believe it’s already been over three weeks since Robert, Rhiannon, Colton, Sam, Sarah and I were down in Saratoga Springs for the 2026 Belmont Stakes at Saratoga Race Course, but we are still buzzing from the roar of the grandstand!🐎✨

The absolute highlight of the trip was watching fellow LBHS alumna, Cherie Ingordo-DeVaux, make history again. After taking the Derby, seeing her come to Saratoga and completely dominate the day was unforgettable. We had a feeling it was her day, so we put our money on her big runners: Golden Tempo in the Belmont Stakes and Englishman in the Woody Stephens. Englishman was an absolute powerhouse, tying a 48-year-old track record, and Golden Tempo rallied beautifully down the stretch. We have to give a massive shoutout to the incredibly talented jockey Jose Luis Ortiz who delivered such masterful, brilliant rides. Naturally, we happily cashed those winning tickets! 🏇💸

Beyond the races, the trackside fashion completely captivated me. I had my 35mm camera loaded with an expired roll of my beloved Fuji Pro 400H (RIP 🎞️) to capture that authentic, truth-led documentary feel of the day. The incredible millinery and elegance instantly transported me back to my twenties living in the UK, getting dressed up for Ladies’ Day at Ascot and Glorious Goodwood. 👒🇬🇧

It was a weekend of high stakes, brilliant fashion, and hometown pride.
