I will neverrrrr get tired of this part of Connecticut. Kent Falls is easily one of my favorite places and somehow it just keeps getting better.
The second I got on the phone with Kenton months ago, I knew these two were going to be a perfect couple for me. I have been WILDLY excited about this proposal ever since. Then I met Kat and immediately knew… yep. Dream session. Between these two being absolutely perfect together, the light showing OFF, this landscape, and the cutest little church they found at the end of our adventure—I am absolutely bursting at the seams over this entire session.
Seriously. Let me do this a million more times please!!!

This will always be one of my all-time favorite sessions to go back to. My stunning sis-in-law, in a field of sunflowers during golden hour, with my little buddy growing inside — who is somehow about to be FIVE. 🥹
Since sunflower season is making its very short and very pretty return next week, I opened up a few spots while the fields are in bloom.
Wednesday — 6:30 + 7:00
Saturday — 7:00
These are perfect for maternity, couples, or just because you want to frolic through a sunflower field at golden hour.

I don’t know how I haven’t shared this yet!
Steph and Chris are the kind of clients I get beyond excited to see. I went to high school with them, which makes getting to capture their family through the years even more special.I joke all the time about them having too many kids, but the truth is, they have the most perfect little family—and these girlies are genuinely some of the sweetest kids you will ever meet. That’s what happens when you have two of the very best humans as parents. And now we have officially done a milk bath for every single one of them!!!
You guys are amazing, and I’m so grateful you’ve trusted me to capture all of these memories and watch your beautiful family grow through the years.

I love talking about this milestone because it’s the one I feel like most people think about skipping: six months. The halfway mark. The time when that little baby starts doing all the things and their personality really begins to shine. With my own kids, this was when I finally started to heal from postpartum. I felt like I was coming back to myself, and I was able to enjoy everything a little more.
I love seeing that same weight begin to lift from my clients’ shoulders. Most of the time, this is when things start to feel a little easier and everyone settles into their groove.
And that big change from newborn to tiny person? It’s one of my favorites. The giggles, the interactions, and all those little expressions. Sometimes we’re sitting, and sometimes we’re still happiest on our tummy—and I love capturing all of it.

Every summer I forget just how much I love beach sessions... and then I get back out there and remember exactly why. That golden sunset light that never gets old.
One of my beach mini spots has turned into a private Mommy & Me session (which I’m so excited about!), so I shifted the evening around and now have 2 sunset beach mini sessions available at 7:30 & 7:45 PM.
These later evening time slots have some of my favorite light all summer and would be beautiful for couples, maternity, or even a family looking to hang later in the evening for that dreamy sunset glow.
