No pressure. No perfect poses. Just rolling around, snuggling with mama, laughing with dad, and taking a break for a yummy lunch.

The little things never stay little for long 🤍

The tiny hands reaching for yours. The scuffed-up knees from playing outside. The curls that never seem to stay. The favorite toys scattered across the yard. The way they wrap their arms around your neck without a second thought.

These are the details that quietly tell the story of this season.

One day, they’ll be the moments you miss the most. That’s why I’ll always make space to photograph them. Because the little details are often the biggest part of the memories.

One day the trucks won’t be scattered across the living room floor.

There won’t be waffles left on little faces, impromptu hockey games in the middle of the house, or a tiny newborn sleeping peacefully while the rest of the family carries on around them.

These days can feel messy. Loud. Ordinary.

But this is the season you’ll miss.

When you look back years from now, I don’t want you to just remember what everyone looked like. I want you to remember what it felt like.

The sound of your children’s laughter echoing through your home. The way your oldest proudly showed off his favorite toys. The quiet newborn snuggles. The chaos. The calm. The love woven through all of it.

That’s why I don’t expect perfection during your session. I want your kids to be kids. Play the games they love. Eat breakfast together. Read books. Snuggle on the couch. Dance in the kitchen.

Because your story isn’t found in perfectly posed moments.

It’s found in the beautifully ordinary moments you’re living right now. And one day, they’ll be the memories you treasure most. 🤍

Mamas, one day you’ll forget the sound of their little feet racing across the backyard. The way they insisted on climbing the fence “all by myself.” The sticky hands from melting ice pops. The trampoline giggles. The baseball games. Chasing chickens. The snuggles they gave without being asked.

These are the moments worth remembering.

Not perfectly posed. Not perfectly clean. Just perfectly them.

Your family doesn’t have to do anything extraordinary for your photos to tell a beautiful story. Stay home. Play your favorite games. Let them run barefoot, get dirty, laugh too loud, and be exactly who they are in this season.

Because years from now, these ordinary days won’t feel ordinary anymore. They’ll be the memories you’ll wish you could step back into, just for a moment.

So let the kids be kids. Love on them. Join in. I’ll take care of the rest 🤍
