Two years ago on this day, I took a chance on a dream that lived quietly in my heart.
I picked up my camera, created a page, and hoped that maybe, just maybe, someone would trust me enough to let me photograph a piece of their life. Today, when I scroll through the hundreds of galleries I've created, I don't see photographs. I see people. I see stories. I see hugs that lingered a little longer, tears that couldn't be held back, laughter that echoed through the session, children who have already grown, couples whose love was frozen in a single frame, families who paused life just long enough to remember what mattered most, and women who walked away seeing themselves a little differently than when they arrived. Every click of my camera holds a memory that can never happen exactly the same way again. What many people don't realize is that you have given me so much more than the opportunity to take your picture. You've invited me into some of the most meaningful chapters of your lives. You've trusted me with your pregnancies, your engagements, your anniversaries, your growing families, your quiet moments, your confidence, your vulnerability, and sometimes even the pieces of yourself you weren't sure anyone else would understand.
As I sit here realizing that this little dream has grown into a community of over 1,600 followers, 69 heartfelt reviews, hundreds of public galleries, and dozens of private ones, I can't help but become emotional.
Because those numbers aren't just numbers.
They're reminders that someone believed in me.
Someone shared my page with a friend.
Someone recommended my name.
Someone liked a photo.
Someone left a kind review.
Someone chose me.
Over and over again.
You helped a dream become something real.
There are thousands of photographers someone could choose from, yet time and time again, you chose me to preserve moments that can never be recreated. That is a privilege I will never take for granted.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Thank you for believing in me before I fully believed in myself.
Thank you for every booking, every message, every recommendation, every comment, every share, every smile, every laugh, every tear, and every memory we've created together.
Photography has given me so much more than a business.
