I had been looking for the Green Heron for months and finally saw him fly by and land across the channel. 😊♥️

Though the pic isn’t as clear as I’d like and I probably took it through the window, I’m a sucker for a reflection shot so I’m sharing it from our first fall at our new house.

Thursday night's sunset.

A sunset can change so quickly. It went from this showy one to 12 minutes later being spectacular with layers of orange, a smidge of yellow, blue sky, some moody bluish purple, and white clouds.

I prefer to share only one sunset shot at time to fully take it in so the WOW one was shared yesterday.

Ruby-throated Hummingbird

It was a dreary day here last year on the channel and this little guy was just hanging out in the gentle rain. You don't often see a hummingbird sitting still, so at first when I looked out the office window, I had no idea what tiny, tiny bird was sitting on the posts.

I switched the pics to black and white to go with the mood of the day.
